I am russian, but i really enjoyed watching la liga back in the day, and casilla was an ultímate god i mean the guy had the best reflexes i have ever seen. Maybe historically he is not the most complete, but as a veteran watching this sport i can say that when it comes to reflexes he is the best goalkeeper in the history
Take a look at Manuel Neuer vs. Porto. There he showed a reflex with his foot which is from a different universe. The striker was already celebrating the goal as it was literally impossible to save his header but Neuer managed it with that unique safe

I was born in 1996, so of course I can't say a lot about the goalkeepers who played before the 2000's. I have seen Buffon, Casillas and Kahn all in their prime and everyone of them deserves to be in the goat conversation but not one of them had an impact as big as the one Neuer had on goalkeeping. He changed the game and is so well rounded that he doesn't have any weakpoints. He is truly the greatest goalkeeper of all time.

No honorable mention but Rene Higuita el loco of colombia revolutionised the goalkeeper sweeper position way beyond manuel neuer. He was the prototype for the modern and furure player and allowed for very high backlines. He was also a penalty and freekick taker and very good at it.

As a Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Ajax fan, I would say this video is clear. But I still think P Cech needs some recognition. I think the goal keepers like J L Buffon, M Neuer, and I Casillas have been a wonderful to watch and learn from considering I was born in the 2000s'. In today's era I think goal keepers like De Dea, Oblack, Allison, Courtois, Ederson and even Neuer need to be embraced because these are the ones who are simply doing it for us at the top level. Jean-marie pfaff shouldve been in this list. He was Belgium's best ever goalkeeper and used to play for Bayern München. With an average team Belgium went to the finals in 1980 euros because of the beast they had in the goal, Pfaff is still considered a legend in Belgium to this day, and is still considered as the best goalkeeper our country ever had above Courtois.
I'm a São Paulo fan and Ceni is far from being one of the GOATs... his peak was REALLY good, up there with the top GKs in Europe, but putting him here would mean he's the greatest Brazilian GK ever and that's far from being a thing here.

Jean-marie pfaff shouldve been in this list. He was Belgium's best ever goalkeeper and used to play for Bayern München. With an average team Belgium went to the finals in 1980 euros because of the beast they had in the goal, Pfaff is still considered a legend in Belgium to this day, and is still considered as the best goalkeeper our country ever had above Courtois.
You have criminally ignored Ceni and Chilavert.
I'm a São Paulo fan and Ceni is far from being one of the GOATs... his peak was REALLY good, up there with the top GKs in Europe, but putting him here would mean he's the greatest Brazilian GK ever and that's far from being a thing here.
