Really important to mention "recorded top speed" doesnt necessarily tell you who the fastest player is, just that they have recorded a high top speed. You probably find players in training that are capable of running much faster speeds than recorded in a match. Nor does it tell you who the fastest player is because maybe the fastest player plays in a system where they dont ever reach their top speed. When Bale was at Spurs he was asked who the fastest guy at the club was (back when they had Bale, Walker, Lennon) he said top speed its Younes Kaboul, he just had lousy acceleration. You never got to see Kaboul at full speed because he never really needed to get to that speed.

Really important to mention "recorded top speed" doesnt necessarily tell you who the fastest player is, just that they have recorded a high top speed. You probably find players in training that are capable of running much faster speeds than recorded in a match. Nor does it tell you who the fastest player is because maybe the fastest player plays in a system where they dont ever reach their top speed.
When Bale was at Spurs he was asked who the fastest guy at the club was (back when they had Bale, Walker, Lennon) he said top speed its Younes Kaboul, he just had lousy acceleration. You never got to see Kaboul at full speed because he never really needed to get to that speed.
