@@thabreez456 Yes so if you beat the game 8 times going through World 1-8 (and World 9 if no warp zones are used), then at the title screen press the Start button while holding down the A button , you'll start on World A. There is a World A, B, C and D.

@@thabreez456 Yea it's pretty insane. I'm sure you can find some footage on UA-cam. I did it when I had Covid-19 in early 2021 and was off for 2 weeks.
Switch's Online is technically emulation... most if not all of the titles even give you access to savescumming, and some even offer online multiplayer. Hell, this kind of emulation thing is at _least_ as early as the Wii, although there you had to buy the individual ROMs.
They just don't give you ROM hacks, unless you count 2J as a difficulty hack instead of a real game.
