    I like how Bret says “that’s not a fun wreck”, like there is a fun wreck 🤣🤣🤣. Great video you guys!

      I've never been in a fun wreck, but I've seen some fun wrecks

    I love to see the teamwork. It’s nice to know that even if you don’t know each other very well, you can still work together because you know principles.

    Cool to see we aren't the only ones doing it this way. Level headed colt you got there.

    Really neat when two guys with savy just do their thing.

    Thanks for the video I've read Ed's books and I couldn't figured out how much to double them, I use the same method as you on the ground and really get them turning back . Thanks again

    Nice use of the quirt on a first ride! I never saw a brace even from that quirt. Cody did great work before you mounted.

    16:20 that’s a bit of a distraction in the background 😂. All kinds of work getting done in this video.

    Interesting rig your'e using there, Bret, is that one of those molded, cable rigged trees, built bare bones, with just skirts? Oh, enjoyed the hell out of your book by the way.

    If it's not to much to ask, what are your pen dimensions roughly?

    • @HorsemanshipAsAnArt
      @HorsemanshipAsAnArt  2 роки тому +1

      That big round pen is roughly 80 feet across. I jerked a 40 foot rope off my saddle, picked a spot I called the middle and walked a circle then built it in my tracks.

    are your stirrups hobbled together or to the cinch?

    • @HorsemanshipAsAnArt
      @HorsemanshipAsAnArt  2 роки тому +1

      hobbled together. I don't suggest anyone does this. I use this method as tool. do as I say, not as I do. first rule of fight club

      Can you explain why you hobble them together?

    What's on the tail of the black horse?

    • @HorsemanshipAsAnArt
      @HorsemanshipAsAnArt  Рік тому

      a tail bag

    • @HorsemanshipAsAnArt
      @HorsemanshipAsAnArt  Рік тому

      when they switch there tails during fly season the hair breaks and or gets caught in things. With a tail bag his tail grows long and he can swat flys
