Test drove one top spec model some time ago here in Finland. Love at first sight! Unbelievable comfortable and quiet. Great design as well, very pleasing to my eyes. Quick DC charge at 100kW. I have test driven at least dozen EV's this year and this was the first one to get my heart pounding. Don't need super fast acceleration as Teslas have, but serenity with comfort. Going to get one with all bells and whistles next spring in Caramel colour!
2 years late reply, but also about to buy one (Finland), how has the range been in Finland during winter periods? I'm afraid it won't do 180km commute HKI-TRE on a single change
I got this car last week, and really enjoying it, of course the only down side is the range when going on motorway but I'm mainly using it for city drive so I just need to plan when going on motorway. :) this car is so confortable and my boy is happy with the space at the back. I had the C4 cactus previously so I'm used to the comfort of Citroen and this one is clearly an upgrade in all the way imaginable, glad though that they kept a bit of the quirkiness.
@@Id3fornow... it is acceptable alright if you plan your trip, it's not an issue for me. on the way to newry there's a couple of nice area to charge the car fast enough so it wasn't bad. and the car is so so great to drive so I certainly don't regret my purchase. some are buying for long range but my choice was more for comfort and the ode long motorway well planned trip. :)
Even though you have this car for a short time, you gave a prity good overview. I have owned a number of Citroëns in the past and they have the best suspension of all the cars I have owned. They do think of the passenger more than other manufacturers, I am interested in your week long review, thanks.
This is definitely a contender for our 1st EV. Seen a few reviews, but nice to have one based on Irish roads. Hopefully some more incentives are rolled out to help make the transition to EV's after COP26.
I have bought one I pick it up in April it is the lower spec Feel Pack, took it for a test drive I did not want to give it back absolute beautiful car, looking forward to having it outside the door.
Very good quick review. You mention features that others haven’t, the tilt of the heads up display, built in dash cam, the way you can put a tablet into the dash. This is useful stuff to point out. No one tends to say if it is front or rear wheel drive though. I would not like to go back to a rear wheel car, I remember what a pain they are in bad weather.
Great review of a great car; the thinking person's choice , or at least, people who can think for themselves. Downside? EV's (all EV's, the lovable and brilliant Ami aside) are not yet genuinely affordable' for most folk which is a shame. We have to move away from Fossil cars but the manufacturer's inflated prices for EV's is not helping matters and is cynical. (They're not passing on the reduction in battery cost) We'll get there eventually though.
Astonishing, that the standard models are not the most buyed. Most all of the customers buy the more expensive variants. And that applies to nearl all cars.
You've piqued our interest with this review. We currently only have 3 Citroen models in Australia and none are electric. If they bring this one down under we'll be keen to drive it. Great review given the short time with it. 👍

I love Citroens & have owned a few. The one thing I don't like about lots of modern cars is the sloping back, if you want to carry loads they usually come in square boxes. I don't get the aerodynamic argument as the gains are somewhat marginal especially at slower speeds. Rear view is severely compromised. Both BMW & Mercedes produce 2 of the most pointless & ugly SUVs on the market with sloping rear ends. Give me the old Volvo estate cars anytime.
I find the front end absolutely hideous.. but as you pointed out perhaps it grows on you... hopefully not like a fungus..., I am not sure I could get used to it... Rear sloping coupe roof design I would think reduces potential rear storage capacity, reduces rear visibility. The spoiler seems unnecessary and also reduces rear visibility, I don't like it. Tablet holder is interesting and unique. Rear seating seems quite spacious which is nice. Performance is anemic... but the price is good, very affordable, a good first effort I think. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future. Thanks again for another excellent review, sadly I don't think I will see these anytime soon in the U.S.

I think when the design the sloping coupe style, the designers have to go higher to get the slope effect so you gain more in the height at the top of the slope...🤷♂️ I wonder if the spoiler is purely aesthetic or if it does help aero. Visibility is slightly hind9 but not by much. I think the tablet holder is something different and shows they're thinking. Small thing but it's a thing. Others wouldn't bother. Rear space is great. Performance is adequate ha ha and price is definitely on the more affordable end of what's available over here.
Any comments on the driver aids available, the adaptive cruise, lane keeping and so on? Looks a great car but would definitely be a stressor for long distances

How would you rate the seats compared to the Peugeot e-2008? My plan was to purchase a MG Marvel R but it takes forever to get here. A second had Citroen e-C4 or a Peugeot e-2008 is what I'm looking for at the moment. Love the drive of the e-2008 but I think the seats are a bit stiff. Just subscribed to your channel. Think I have hours of ev reviews to watch :)

Neither did I, so I ordered mine e-C4 with the black color pack. The color packs are also available in grey and red I think.
I need to see the different colour packs before I get it for a longer spin
really the only omission in this car is the missing 12v in the back. Other than that, its all quite perfect, honestly!
