Imagine getting to the end of the base game and discovering the mobile world is actually a reflection. 👀 Lightspeed did a good job with Apex Legends Mobile. High hopes for FFXIV Mobile
I will check it of course when it is out. How much can I focus on this version and on PC version at the same time is a question on it's own, but anyways. If and as long s Yoshi P's team keeps an eye on it and ensures that it stays true to FF14 as we know it, it should remain good. If they don't go with "pay to win" model like almost every mobile game, even better. As for Ff14 then it is my first FF game ever. I am a very long time MMO player, literally been "in the biz" since the first MMO's came out and I managed to be a part of those (both as beta tester and player later). And I can honestly say that so far, from all of the games that I've experienced FF14 has the most dedicated team. I've seen so many MMO's which start with a bang, big words about bright future are thrown around but after a while, it all dies down. Some publisher only cares about quick money from sellable lootboxes, original dev team disperses and remaining team only stamps out one lootbox "series" after another. FF14? Devs of that game still keep working on it after 11 years and they still do it with passion, with dedication, with mentality of "we want to bring great game, great story, great world to people" as their primary goal. And for that I am thankful to Yoshi P and his team.
I'm so appreciative of how casual FFXIV is! I've been playing for the better part of two years on and off, and only just now got to Post-HW. There's just so much to do, and I wanted to do it all! AND NOW I GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN?!? I'LL GLADLY DO SO!!! Fun fact: content creators like you are what got me into FFXIV, so thanks for doing what you do ^_^
Wait, what!? Did they say that in the trailer?? That would be awesome, hopefully they put the new voices into the main game as well. But it would be nice to still have the option to listen to the old voices if we want as well.
1:44, ahh that song makes me wanna resub so bad, reminds me of crafting. I’m kinda interested cause I joined super late and rushed through the story to like the end of Shadowbringers and skipped a bunch of the old optional stuff. (Not the crafting of course)
Me when I'm being jumped but i have final fantasy XIV mobile booted up on my phone (I'm still going to try it out anyways I've never played a final fantasy game ever)
This looks amazing for people who don't have a PC or console, but have a phone. I don't really see the appeal for those of us who already play FFXIV, though. Seems like it will essentially be a simplified, limited adaptation of the basics of FFXIV's story and gameplay. So again, if that's the only way a mobile-only player can approach FFXIV, then that will be great for them. I hope it does well. But for an existing FFXIV player, I'm not sure what there is to get out of it other than an inferior experience on a tiny screen.
...im confused tho, are they expanding ffxiv to mobile so they can play with everyone else? Or its separate from them and you have to do everything all over again but its on mobile? And if so, does that mean 2 separate subs you would have to keep track of?
It's a completely separate game that doesn't interact with the main FFXIV at all. The mobile game will be free to play, no subscription needed. I assume it will have its own Mog Station cash shop for cosmetics and stuff.
My phone WILL explode
Ifrit never felt this real (my phone is currently melting in my hands)
😂😂😂😂😂😂 same maybe they optimize it for a mobile version lol it's not like PC or console right?

@@0Fyrebrand0Heavily implied at 2:30, I don't think that's Minfilia's OG English VA.
@@the0s0ph1st Oh yeah, nice observation!

This is funny considering Granblue Fantasy exist (a spiritual successor for Final Fantasy, with heavy inspiration on NES/SNES FF games and FF11)
Glad to know I’m not the only current player that’s hyped for this. The idea of starting fresh in ARR and reliving the beginning again is exciting!
Very excited FFXIV mobile ❤❤❤❤❤ i want to explore ezorea ❤❤❤
Wow she brought her whole place to Japan, that's crazy
I wonder if this is the versión that also Will be ported to Nintendo's next console.
They're doing a playtest right now to see if the current NSO servers can support an MMO number of players, so maybe!
@charziz6693 that is so good to know!
oh god.
the one thing i thought i could escape from.
im skeptical until further notice with this game like all mobile games

It's a separate game, kinda like League of Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift( 2 very separate games)
Yea pretty much the second one

I'm jumping in bois!
Nice
So this is basically ff14 classic?😂
