Wow, looking back a few years later, this is a messy supercut. I could have made this like 45 minutes easily, probably even shorter. So many jokes that were too specific to my tastes or only made sense in the context of other parts of the video hours later, or other Mario Party Parties. I’m glad so many people have enjoyed this in spite of how much fluff there is, at least.
I think its important to add fluff because fluff is part of the Mario Party Party 50 turns experience. In this videos case im glad you kept it long because it told more of a story.
I feel like Dan is living a childhood dream of being a wrestling villain... Only, instead of wrestling, it's Mario Party and being a villain of fun in general.
Their reactions to the Hidden Block are funnier once you know they removed the star from the Hidden Block, and 10 coins is all you can get out of them.
seeing Jeff at a loss for words is so classic. He's so pro at giving his thoughts and opinions on things, that when something is so absurd or horrible that he can't even think of what to say, it's instantly hilarious
Love the part at 47:40, you should have shown the full context of it where Dan gets hit by the bomb and passes the bank and says "oh that's fine", then ends up being 2 coins short of being able to steal a star. :P
IIRC, the math works out that Drew would have won without Brad's intervention. Doesn't make me want to call him Brad Kingmaker Shoemaker any less. I remember this night so vividly.
Since they didn't show the breakdown screen at the end, I wonder what the minigame and happening results were like. I really wanted to see Dan get 2 bonus so they were forced to dice roll for the win, that would've been legendary (I thought it was going to happen due to what I've heard about this board). Dan deserved to lose though after the Bowser game betrayal though, karma's a bitch. That all being said the people in the comments of these that genuinely dislike Dan I really don't understand. The dude just enjoyed the games and was trying to keep these long-winded ordeals as engaging and entertaining as possible, and I think he succeeded in doing so. He also didn't even complain or make excuses afterwards, despite how salty he was (which 99% of people would be after investing 4 hours into anything and getting annihilated in the last 5 minutes). In other videos I've seen from GB he also seems pretty agreeable, lighthearted, and likable, so I really don't understand what so many peoples' issues with him were/are.
For what it's worth Dan was 100% acting upset at the end. He had to cover his mouth to hide the fact that he wants to laugh. He plays his part well so all the comments about him being a bad sport are just showing how good he is at acting!
@@DJ-qj2mt It's pretty polarizing, people either love it or hate it. I wouldn't even put it in my top 5 but I've heard others say it's their favorite. The minigames are probably slightly above average but the capsule system kinda sucks compared to the orb system used in 6 and 7, especially since there's no shops where you can buy them which kind of turns item management and strategy into a crap shoot.
Does anyone else hear Michael Jones laughing around 5:45? Cause that sounds like Michael(if you haven't heard a Michael laugh, go watch Gavin screwing up)
If I remember correctly he said on the next bombcast that he was highly considering doing it during the dramatic pause but ultimately decided he wasn’t ready to fully embrace the heel character.
+Corvus Vidya Yeah, I've always felt that the strongest GB moments have been, historically, where the reactions have felt natural, i.e. NOT a giant crowd waiting for anything remotely amusing to jump at. Trying to imagine the Hama and Bufu moments from P4, the later Deadly Premonition episodes, the Kinect-era quick looks, etc., a laughing crowd would RUIN all of those.
+Queen Mosh It's them imitating wrestling crowds, who do that constantly to hype up an event. I'd say it's far from obnoxious, since it actually added to the emotion (weird word to say) of the whole event. If it was just a mostly silent crowd laughing here and there, that'd just be dull.
+Krist Snyd I disagree strongly. There's minimal "interaction", just yelling "(action)!" or "(name)!" or something unintelligible. At least with wrestling, there's a physical performance that, at least in theory, involves someone outperforming another. This is the equivalent of rooting for a disc in Plinko.
Mudig i hope people will soon stop using "cringe" as a go-to adjective due to a lack of vocabulary/imagination and soft brains that are influenced easily enough by simple UA-camrs.

I was in attendance and I think you did great
I love every minute of this cut, glad it is the way it is.
Part of the love is that the edited version of the thing is still over an hour. U good.
I think its important to add fluff because fluff is part of the Mario Party Party 50 turns experience. In this videos case im glad you kept it long because it told more of a story.
Nonsense. I think it’s perfect, and I’ve watched it probably 10 times
I love that Dan's move during the cauldron minigame was so fucked that even Jeff laughed at that one.
the fact that the best of is 1 hour shows how fucking amazing this video was
I feel like Dan is living a childhood dream of being a wrestling villain... Only, instead of wrestling, it's Mario Party and being a villain of fun in general.
zrobeast you and I can't be the only ones who get this.
the first time they boo him, he's "woo"ing left and right.
would make Flair proud
Ironically it ends up being pretty fun though.
He was playing as Waluigi after all
This explains all of his behavior
Thanks for catching Dan's reaction to the crowd booing him at 5:32. His delight was priceless!
The Destruction of a Man: A Dan Ryckert Story
So glad I got to go see this live. It was surprisingly fun.
+Landon VanBuskirk me too! was about to leave when Dan had that lead but I'm glad i stayed
If you were there can you explain why the audience was annoying as fuck
11:50 “Ha get fucked Dan”
I miss this series.
mario party with a studio audience is easily the best way to enjoy this game
Drew is the people's champion
Drew winning always feels good.
Dan Ryckert, the heel of the Mario Party WWF
5 turns left and Dan was leading 7 stars to 2 lol.
Dan's reaction at 4:58, when he knew this would be some carny-ass, wrestling type of shit and he was 100% in on it.
That was the best mario party session ive ever seen.
Their reactions to the Hidden Block are funnier once you know they removed the star from the Hidden Block, and 10 coins is all you can get out of them.
thats lame
This was the best GB feature since before Ryan left us.
Rest in peace
Until Abby started

"Brisk pace"
Turn 14
Amaaaaazing.
The best part of this is how genuinely upset Dan gets when he loses.
I just feel better inside watching him squirm while the final result was unveiled
Dan was the ultimate bad guy, and this was the best game of Mario Party ever recorded.
20:20
Turn check:
Brad: X/
Drew: -_-
Dan: XD
Jeff: :[
IIRC, the math works out that Drew would have won without Brad's intervention.
Doesn't make me want to call him Brad Kingmaker Shoemaker any less.
I remember this night so vividly.
31:20 And that's how Waluigi lost his Smash Ultimate slot.
Jeff flipping Dan the double bird while he moves the star AND while he has 69 coins is a crazy level of trolling.
having trouble re-finding on short notice
@@Gungho73 For another layer of trolling, it is literally at 13:37
I can't make this stuff up.
The look on Jeff's face when he fucks over Dan and walugi gets the mystery block will never stop being hilarious
The buffer’s hard to control, so focus on controlling it.
okay I'll admit it, the crowd went from annoying as hell to fucking electric! I can see why This is regarded as the best Party
if i owned a movie theater i would just run this
This is the best one yet, i actually pumped my fist in the air so many times
I absolutely LOVED this! Thinking about becoming a prime member so I can see the other Mario parties!
Oh, wow!
We should all have the privilege of playing Mario Party with a packed crowd at least once
Scaldin cauldron was the physical incarnation of sadness
The live Mario Party Parties is so genius
26:00 underrated cauldron game moment.
58:55 Brad's foreshadowing before the Brad Moment in the Mario Party Party 5 Season Finale.
My boy Jeff changing the star position like a boss Lmao 13:35
I watched every second of this and Loved it. I'm mesmerized by this series. Keep em coming GBz.
1:00:42 Best moment here, my god this things is what makes mario party the greatest shit ever (old series ofc)
These are still the best 😂
This is what GB good. Dan loves being the heel and Jeff is always the smartest guy in the room.

DREW DREW DREW DREW DREW DREW! And thank the Bone Capsule!
Having audience is like having a blast!
Fun fact: When you get all 3 miracle spheres, all of the first place players stars go to the player in last place.
I would’ve preferred the reward to be a guaranteed victory regardless of stars and coins but that’s just my opinion.
really proud of brad. he's looking so much healthier now than he was there for a couple years
Who's watching in 2020
Dan blew a 5 star lead
The Capsule guy from Jeff will never ever be dull.
man this is the ultimate mario party ever period
20:00 Drew gets screwed: the video game
Always worth it to see Dan get wrecked.
You just can't make this shit up.
This should be a highlight stream!XD
this is definitely the best mario party party they have done
Boom, motherfuckers! ~
It's a shame they never activated the "Miracle Capsule", Jeff's reaction to it would be priceless.

39:29 Pretty much sums up Mario Party
OH, WOW!
The only way for the lose to be worse is if Drew got all 3 miracle capsules.
I really wish it ended with Dan getting the Happening Star and then it ended with them having to roll off for the winner.
dan's genuine butthurtness at the end is so so sweet.
Dan got ganged up on real bad this time

+TheBitBlock because he makes a great villain.
+TheBitBlock Also hi Josh, nice seeing you here!
+TheBitBlock he's the villain because he's making everyone play mario party. he's an evil man child who ate egg shells once.
+Nick Leeper Not wanting to play Mario Party is actually what makes you evil. Jeff is as evil as they come.

Worst Mario party so far, because no DMX Goomba

Dan did nothing wrong.
I So wish Brad had stolen from Drew at the end. Would have been amazing to see the reaction
me too, kinda, but watching him and Jeff just gang up on Dan in their last turns was delicious.

Even if Bernie beats Hillary, it will pale in comparison to this comeback!

Is Dan crying at the end of this? I mean, I want him to admit the franchise is bullshit as much as anyone, but I don't want to break the guy's spirit.

I'm probably the outlier, but I think doing this live ruins it. The audience specifically. I don't want a laugh track.

thepurplewall It's just as obnoxious.
Corvus Vidya
Don't ever go to a live comedy show. You'll hate it. Also, avoid having fun. You'll probably hate that as well.
thepurplewall A live comedy show tends not to have people screaming over the comedian's jokes.
This audience in attendance is genuinly filled with some of the most unfunny people on the planet.
At least they are positive unlike you whose a piece of shit who ruins people’s day
