First saw Mario Party Party 8 (and by extension the whole Mario Party Party run) on a best of video. The way it was edited you'd think Dan, Drew, and Brad were in hysterics over Jeff's “getting wanked off” impression, but no. It was because of Dan laughing so hard he snorted. Also, 20:22. Thorio.
You can really feel how boring the game is on this one. I don't know if it's the music or the minigames they had this time around but damn.

it's the lack of real danger from RNG and crazy items mario party might be a shit series but the earlier ones are fun to watch people play because of the absurd upset potential and how much salt they generate, the later ones just become too safe and boring and actually try to be videogames instead of the schadenfreude fueled torture-your-friends simulators we know and love
The overall feel of this one was very melancholy and tried to look more realistic. The music can be soothing at times but for a party game, that isn't ideal. Forced motion controls also hurt this game.

This playlist has devolved from 4 guys semi enjoying a series of games into Dan being the biggest asshole torturing these guys to finish a game none of them have any interest of playing
because on every ever-so-rare stretch of 16 minutes that DMX isn't in prison, he shows up somewhere he probably shouldn't be, very obviously high on something that'll violate his parole, and develops and ships a new Mario Party.
After watching this series from MP1 to MP8, I'm conflicted. Dan is the smarmy asshole, but he's the only one truly enjoying every MP game. Brad and Drew have lost interest after the first few games, and Jeff has never liked them. Guess I'll be cheering for Dan from now on. Jeff's sarcasm/pessimism is really wearing thin.
There's entirely too much complaining from the other guys. Mario party is supposed to be a chaotic time. Also the amount of ripping Jeff does on Nintendo is just the sounds of a guy who doesn't enjoy anything but edgy bullshit. Just an observation.
Jeff lost my sympathy when he complained about not getting more money when he won on one of the hardest luck based battle games. Jeff, bro, take the win and the money don't have a bitch fit about not getting more. Plus you got the 1st star afterwards. It was trying to throw you a bone and you spat in luck's face and asked for more.
