Many say the Sofitel is the best hotel at Heathrow Airport. Certainly for location at Terminal 5 it is but personally I prefer the Hilton over at T2.
Not in doubt is, the most expensive suite at Heathrow. The £2000 a night Imperial Suite at the Sofitel........and on this trip I was hoping to stay there.
You were there the same day I was back in 2021. Staying there again in a few months time.
Just curious, do you tip the porter, concierge, housekeeping, etc in the UK? If so, how much is customary? Thank you 😊
Surprised the TVs were working in the bath - they weren't when I was there last week
I have stayed in a few hotels with touchscreen bathroom TVs and I dont think they are a great idea. As they are ( pardon the pun ) touch and go as with usage. Wet hands etc are never a good thing. Also you cant change the channel when you are in the bath tub. Mind you I was always a fan of Scooby Doo.
