GOLDS GALORE AT ANGLING TRUST CADET, JUNIOR & YOUTH NATIONALS 2024!

Join us on the banks of Partridge Lakes in Cheshire for an action-packed weekend of fishing in the Angling Trust Cadet, Junior & Youth National Championships 2024.
Over 170 youngsters took part in the three Guru-sponsored events this year, with strong performances across the board from anglers aged between 10 and 20 years old.
Even the drizzly weather couldn’t dampen their spirits as the fished for the honour of becoming National Champions!
Saturday saw five teams of Cadets and 11 teams of Junior anglers go head-to-head on Partridge’s Spey, Marsh, Ribbon, and Covey lakes with a close finish between them.
The Youth anglers - including seven of the current Beechfield Headwear England U20 squad - were in action on Sunday in what proved to be an even tighter contest, just four points between gold and silver places, and a couple of fish separating the top individual anglers.

Great ser young anglers on the both male and female. To prepare them world match fishing . I'd love to see more canal and rivers included. I sincerely hope hope this is already in the pipelines for future matches. That said much respect for improving the future of are amazing sport

spot on. ..but please try them on natural venues for the England team.....bloodworm etc

Hi Matt, we've asked the team's, kids and coaches and there's a huge preference for commercial venues. We do indeed have other events like the talent pathway that line up our young anglers to compete on the world stage, although not necessarily on natural venues. A lot of international fishing nowadays is for carp and we need to show young people all sorts of fishing.
