Back again, it's been 6 months since I first started felting. I will be making this bat very soon!!
Back again, am I the only one who revisits favorite project pages? It's been 4 months this time but now I have all the basics of felting down really well since I started this hobby almost a year ago. I don't wet felt yet but instead of using material like you do, I will be felting my own material for the wings. I just love this little batty so much. The thumbs & toes are genius but I'll be adding the paint to the Mod Podge just to do both at once.

Could you share what thickness your wire is and where you purchase it, please.
Did not find a suitable fabric for the wings, so I wet felted them. Maybe it's a good alternative for one or the other, because it harmonises well in color!! Greetings from Germany, Moni

interfacing is a very thin felted (or woven, but get the felted) material for adding strength, thickness or rigidity to the inside of garments. But here it is used as the material and it is brilliant!
