I’m glad you found this helpful. Thanks for the Subscribe. I haven’t posted much this year and don’t know when or if I’ll get back to tinkering with instruments. Since the dawn of COVID my employment became full time work from home. So now the home is not really the get a way from work it used to be a few years ago. LOL. I agree with you. Reinforcement like this should be put in a lot more guitars. Especially 12 string instruments.
@@WalterCombsLCSW Here is my A&L 12 string... After I got done with this, I kind of thought all 12 strings should have this whether they have a problem with Belly Bulge, or not.....ua-cam.com/video/5hwSGIgFpXg/v-deo.html
@@jackoshaw I watched your install video earlier. Just watched Red House. That 12 Strings sounds nice. Do you still feel it muffled the sound a little? Or was it just the room? When I did my 6 string I started thinking it acted like a sound post on a violin and added to the sound of my Washburn. I like you only used 1 brass pin. I used all 6 and struggled as I tried to fit the strings through. If I ever put the bridge Doctor on another guitar, I might just go with 1 pin. Maybe even buy a set of brass push pins so it won’t look to different. Thanks for chatting on this and showing your experience with it. 😊
@@WalterCombsLCSW No.... The Bridge saddle was too low... The next day, I shimmed the saddle up and noticed a big difference... At first, the strings were barely touching the saddle, that was the problem, I believe, Not the Bridge Doctor... Very Happy with the results, after I worked on the saddle...

Just Installed a Bridge Doctor in an A&L 12 string.... World of Difference... Love it... After the install, I believe they should be in every 12 from the beginning!... Here is a video I did not long ago.... ua-cam.com/video/AOF246rkRfI/v-deo.html I only used one Bridge pin on the "D" String... Good results........ Before I ordered my Bridge Doctor, I watched this video!... Very Helpful....It is the right type of support fi=or the guitar...

Strange ....the directions say : " Don't use the D-hole for positioning " while the illustration points out to use the D-hole ...
LOL. Do as I do, not as I say ? 😜
