Again, great to see what you did with all that footage you filmed. Hopefully everyone enjoys watching as much as I did and thanks for the pleasure of your company - it was a real joy and pleasure 🙏
I respect Jason's interest in process, not just in result. Hence, his interest in seed propagation, thread grafting, air-layering, and so on. I prefer to collect volunteer seedlings, like Japanese maple, oak, red cedar, chaste tree (vitex), common American elm. A late friend loved collecting oak seedlings from a stream bed, where he said you got natural trunk movement created by the water flow.
Excellent video, as always 😎 I really like Jason's catsura and potato tree, personally I really like it how it is lol. Strangely... I purchased a Trident Maple from All Things Bonsai too (surprisingly, it was only £49!) and I'm doing the same thing as Jason in, except with cuttings - putting them on rocks. I also planted an apple seed in March, from a supermarket apple, and it's turning into a nice little crab apple 🙂 Online Bonsai School is a channel I watch regularly too, it's excellent for learning those traditional Japanese techniques. ... and regarding the username haha 😆 I've just always used 'anti-duck' as my username, but UA-cam doesn't (or didn't; I'm not sure if things have changed) like the hyphen 😢 You're both A-list 😎 EDIT: Forgot to mention AI!.. it's literally the field that I used to work in haha 😆 I completely agree with Jason, it's a really useful tool, but I do understand concerns about it at the same time. With regards to fraud using AI on UA-cam though... there's not much to worry about; there are already AI algorithms that can detect AI generated images which I'm sure UA-cam could easily implement if it ever became a concern.
Another great video. Click bate🤔🤔🤔 I’m not bothered about titles it’s more about the person on the video, I have to enjoy that persons videos if I do I’ll watch them no mater what.
Great video Xavier and from Jason a really informative to how and why not only Bonsai trees but to how you go about editing and using the tools available and that’s what really sets you guys apart from a lot of people even though I have only been doing well trying would be more accurate Bonsai is more than enough learning for me as for doing films of the process my head would explode it’s taken enough years to find how my smart phone works lol 😂 keep up the great work you guys do it’s appreciated 🫶
