@4070super It works with 14700, but if this a good idea that's another topic. Realistically this cooler can handle 70W TDP and this cpu can pull over 300W and throttle in a second. After 1800RPM this cooler starts to be noisy and it is probably better idea to use something with 120mm fan. Anyway I disabled Ecores, HT off and limited boost to 4.5GHz and it works for me topping at 60*C and 1800RPM, with undervolt and some fan curve you can get some decent results, but it will be far from it's capabilities.
I currently have this same cooler (in retro brown color) cooling an Intel Core i5-13500. I do some minimal overclock on memory but nothing for CPU (non-K CPU of course) In normal use, I rarely see temps higher than 45C and usually in the low 40s. However playing some fairly undemanding games (Forza Horizon 5), I often hit 85-90C. That seems high to me. I will say I don't have a lot of cooling in this Iqunix case.
Thanks for the feedback and saying your temperature numbers. I'm sure that they will be useful to everyone, especially those looking for this cooler and your case combination.
My l9x65 didn't come with any bracket like you shown, it does have everything else but not those 2 black brackets you shown, i still didn't install it should i be worried?
@@TechLegend-com yeah i realized that those are for am5 to bring the cooler a bit down since in am5 the chiplets are a little to the south of the cpu IHS and so they did this to give you the best cooling performance.
Oh noh i really like that style of cooler, i dont like the water cooler, and i dont like the big fan tower cooler, no space for ram. I hope you could make a video to test this low profile for highend cpu with atx motherboard. Thanks
Thanks for providing the sound!
Happy to hear you liked it!
I'm hoping to run this on a 14600k with a slight undervolt..hopefully it can handle it
Please let me know how it performs on that CPU.
I am going to run this on 14700k :)

If it works then do not be worried.

Would this be sufficient to cool Ryzen 7 5700x? Or would it be better fo me to go for nh-c14s
Go for the larger CPU cooler, this little one is only made for low TDP CPUs.
Is a 65w CPU a good match for this cooler? Ryzen 7 7700 (non-x) specifically.
I'd go with something bigger like the NH-C14S.
Which part is copper? Looks aluminum
The baseplate and heatpipes are nickelplated copper.
This can handle 12700k atx motherboard?
I don't think so. You need a bigger cooler for that CPU.

@@Tylenol888 Well, even with my CPU it could barely handle it. It's a pretty small CPU cooler.
@@TechLegend-com ok anyway thank you i went for thermalright si-100. Its a bery nice cooler, my aida 64 test is only around 65 to 75 celcius.
@@Tylenol888 That's a good choice!
