@Okaayyy but dark skin is naturally more saturated than lighter skintones. Meaning that grey tones don't work well as contour for dark skin. The fenty is a much better contour because it's slightly warmer which would work better for darker skintones.
a lot of darker skinned women are more suited to cool and bright colours 😭 also contour is meant to be cool if you want a warmer look that is a bronzer most brands label bronzer as contour because regular consumers don’t understand the difference and want a “warm contour”

I think the milk one is just a bit softer and shinier so it looks darker/thicker but they're essentially the same shade just in different finishes and coverage per swipe to my eyes 🤔 If they were applied to the exact same coverage level they'd be nearly indistinguishable aside from Milk being dewy in finish and the Fenty being matte/velvet. But some others have pointed out that they're also very slightly different 'temperatures' and they're right. One is slightly warmer/red toned and the other slightly cooler/blue/purple toned. I'm a pale Scottish woman and I don't even contour or use foundation but I'm seriously happy that there are such dark and varied shades now in cosmetics! I honestly can't recall any shades even close to this growing up. Nothing darker than a sort of orangey and muddy brownish color. If someone wants to wear foundation or contour or what-have-you they should be able to find a color and shade that works for them and makes them feel beautiful and confident ❤️ Everyone deserves to feel amazing in whatever they choose to wear.
Milk is cooler and comes off thicker, Fenty is warmer and comes out thinner so her skin peaks through, but it is probably more blendable and buildable. Milk wins for darkness because the cooler tones make it appear darker and it's thicker, but I would need to see her work with them both to see which one is better for building and blending!
i love that brands are finally inclusive for people with skin tones outside of “alabaster” to “warm sand” but i need a shade that’s closer to “spectre from the attic” 💀
I think it is the same. People may think milk is darker but its really the pigment. Milk is more pigmented, or it's because Milk has a greenish undertone and Fenty has a pink undertone. It's also possible milk is a matte contour! Fenty is more glossy. Idk that's just my opinion lol.
@@zoeywalters8562Yes it is. That's why Milk looks slightly darker; because cooler colors will add depth. Hence why artists will add blue (a cool color) to their black because it looks blacker.
