    Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.
    Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness - a global spiritual awakening.
    Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.
    In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

    My car was stolen recently from outside of the meditation centre after doing Metta meditation. It was a real test of attachment in the moment and lots of emotions came up but there was this deep rooted awareness there of what was coming up. I really liked the car I had for 3 years but I remember thinking - it wasn't ever MY car. Just a car. How can the car belong to me. That's just a mind made concept. Without Eckhart's teachings and the spiritual development I would have adopted the victim mentality, why me? Bad stuff always happens to me. Etc . So grateful for him 💚

    "This is not the time to be spiritual"... so true. We want to apply this stuff when it's easy. It's true purpose is for the tough times

    • @depressionbeard9882
      @depressionbeard9882 5 років тому +29

      Conscious Living actually we should apply it when it’s easy there’s nothing wrong wit that. Because if we can’t be present when everything’s smooth, we won’t be present when it’s rough. Tough times literally force you into it, but with teachings like these available you don’t depend on adversity and pain anymore. You can choose presence, rather than being dragged into the kingdom of heaven kicking and screaming. That’s the whole point of Eckhart’s teaching.

    Poverty is the way the system keeps people from waking up, internally and externally. Osho talks about this a great deal. Until you are able to live relatively comfortably and not have to be in survival mode every day wondering where your next meal is coming from, then you will not be able to evolve spiritually. This woman has absolutely no idea what real poverty is.
    The oligarchic system of money we have now is basically equal to the internal system of ego. They are both master/slave relationships. Both must be thrown off and this requires revolution. It starts with the inner though, we must be cumulatively fed up with this grotesque way of life before change can happen. There is the occasional enlightened homeless person who has just let go completely, but this is about as rare as a being like eckhart.

    • @daveparsons6956
      @daveparsons6956 4 роки тому +4

      I'd agree but I would broaden your definition of 'real poverty'. In the UK the state uses interest rates and taxation to ensure that the vast majority of people are never able to accumulate enough wealth of their own to free themselves from the daily grind. Working a full time job, raising kids and maintaining mortgages/pension payments/car loans etc.... is more than enough for most. And it's the resultant low levels of continual stress that does the real damage, always living from month to month. We're basically shackled livestock.

      Even after that she probably still had more in liquidable (probably the wrong word) assets than I have seen in my whole life. She lost numbers on a screen and nothing at all physically tangible. Its interestinfg its all about perception. And all it takes is a slight shift in that perception to change the whole situation,To the person who feels theirs is not enough, there is always someone with even less and less and less and so on. Must feel like torture for an individual who cannot get past a loss that shocking and devastating.

There is a high likelihood that abrupt climate change will kill our habitat within a very short period of time. Even as little as a decade. I'm struggling with the thoughts of heat exhaustion and or starvation. Yet today was a beautiful day. And I have the luxury of not having to endure physical suffering. I may die before the climate becomes unbearable. Or we may even find a way of "fixing" things. But there's a nagging of things that might come to fruition.

The suffering can be so unbearable that you must surrender it and move on or live your life in “hell”. It can be the ultimate spiritual test. If you live a lifestyle where you are provided by the Universe daily and you don't need to plan for the future at all and every day you will get everything you need for your human needs then you will lose the scarcity mindset because it was shown to you that some higher energy is taking care of you because you have faith (same as Napoleon Hill in the book Outwitting the devil had when he heard voice in his head to do some expensive actions which he didn't have money for in that particular moment) If you have never used your faith for long enough in hard life situations before, then you definitely have to have savings and fear of loss of your money and you have to trust only to yourself. Makes sense.

    In one of my videos I use a clip from the movie "They Live," which I think is VERY interesting and perceptive all on its own in a strange way. However there is a flash where it shows him holding money and for those that haven't seen the movie, in essence there's an underlying reality that most humans can't SEE, and this particular guy gets a pair of glasses that allows him to be able to see what's ACTUALLY printed on the billboards, what's actually printed on the money, what's printed everywhere, WHO the true beings are, and who are imposter so to speak. On the money, the clip that I use shows it's printed "YOUR God" and I think that's VERY perceptive in some ways that some people treat money with such a ridiculous amount of reverence when it is nothing more than an energy, a piece of paper that has no REAL value necessarily other than what WE assign to it. So how much value do WE assign to IT becomes THE question, right? Something to ponder. I found when I just became in more harmony with my surroundings, and just trusted that the universe will provide WHAT I need, when I need it. Those things seem to just work themselves out in a way that maybe wasn't as linear as I thought they would come in. Oftentimes the solutions came in a more abstract way, or from a source that I didn't necessarily see it coming through, but when we stop focusing on the fact that it has to come in the form of a check, or cash, the universe will take care of us in ways that we could have NEVER seen coming, as long as we are living in a frequency of harmony.
    Hope that helps some.
    So very much luv to ALL!!💖💙

What i mean is are you being true to yourself about what you want in life or are your choices in life based on what others ''expect'' of you. If you're accustomed to a certain way of life and a certain level of security and EXPECTATION of future security, a sudden sizable loss can feel just as terrifying as it would a person of more modest means. So it is really all relative.

    Money is difficult. Because (just my opinion) it takes two weeks of hard labor to make. And it’s gone is less than a few hours, when you get paid. Whatever is left over stresses you out to survive off of for the next two weeks. It’s cyclical terror if we live it this way.
