I have only read the Bendis run; I liked that. The story was good, the art was sometimes very good, sometimes mediocre.

Remember seing this tp to be released, gonna order it! Do I need to read anything before this? I know the main characters and lore and some other stuff as well but have never read anything with gotg before
No it really starts a new adventure. Having basic knowledge of the characters helps, but even if you’ve seen the movies you should be solid

I liked the different take on it, the western motif and starting right in the middle of an ongoing issue/conflict for the guardians I thought was fun. Admittedly I do need to finish the back half of the run. I know vol 2 of these paperbacks is out now 📚
@@TheComicBookReport I was really enjoying what Al Ewing was doing and really couldn't care less for the Grootfall plot, losing most of the team was also quite disapointing.
I feel like nothing really mattered in the end.
@@VenAuri I can see that perspective. That Ewing run definitely had its moments, particularly his treatment of
Peter I thought was fascinating.
