For sure man. Always envied guys who can do that "raspy melodic yell", a la Tobi, Menzingers, Architects, etc.
@@cc1912 Greg from The Menzingers sounds great on the album, but he is definitely not doing the raspy thing healthily; his voice is basically shot now, he's got no pitch control and his voice broke and cracked all throughout the show the last few times I saw them. Sam and Tobi seem to have it down really well though, for sure, their voices are almost getting better with time.

Even though this was acoustic, the vocals were just too whiny. Even the second half, his yelling still sounded childish. The guitar however was really nice, a really good cover if it wasn't from the vocals.

+Phillip Kenyon It sucks, because otherwise they'd be so good; instead they just like a whiney version of old Trophy Eyes.
The great thing about bands like Title Fight is that their genre is meant for more raw and rough sounding vocalists that clearly are not professional singers but still use it as an advantage. They have some acoustic stuff from Bondi Porch sessions where even though it's acoustic, they don't try to make every vowel a high octave note unlike what most acoustic covers do by other bands/people.
