    Thank you for this video. I’ve been putting off composting due to other seemingly complex and time time consuming videos I’ve watched here on UA-cam.

    Thank you for the video. I am using a large clay terracotta pot as well. Clay pots help my plants roots breathe so I figured the same would apply to my compost. I never thought of adding eggshells!The English subtitles were considerate of you. Even without the subtitles, I enjoyed watching this video. Also, your background music did not bother me at all! Thanks for a great video.

      Thank you very very much ... Actually we live in India ... Too hot climate ... So we can not grow outdoor plants in plastic pot ... And an earthen pot always better than a plastic one ...
      Eggshells are very good source of calcium and phosphorus ... Try to use it ...
      Thanks again .. 🙏🙏🙏

    Good evening, I am beginning to get into the subject of small family gardens (I have little space) and all that this entails. I have no experience related to the subject and I would like to ask you some questions regarding compost: Can I do it in old plastic paint cans or wooden drawers for example? If I do not have at least natural wood and dry pruning waste at the moment, can I do it only with soil, grass and kitchen waste, eg fruit and vegetable peel, egg, etc? In this case the process to be carried out would be the same?

    • @ladycactus110
      @ladycactus110 2 роки тому +1

      I am not an expert, but I think you need “brown” matter like dry leaves and “green” matter like kitchen waste or fresh leaves. Your compost container needs to be gas-permeable (“breathe”), so no plastic. Harmful chemicals in plastics would leach out anyway. You don’t want that. Happy composting!

    • @danny_yellow

    To help in the decomposition process, we put food scraps in blender. (You can even add leaves.) Blend it. Then pour into soil to completely decompose.
