Reminded me of my old Cragar kit 6-71 blower I had that I don't I kick myself for selling that complete blower setup because its getting used by a guy who loves it.
To all of you haters and critics. The title of this video does say test run. Maybe it's a fresh build which needs to be broke in. Not broken. Any engine, even in stock form, needs a break in period. Only a complete idiot would go full throttle on a fresh build.
any plans on latches to open the doors from the outside? because of the shaved handles you will need a latch to be accessible from the outside to open the doors to race at a dragstrip. i had to get rid of the shaved handles on my el camino and put the oem ones back in to be legal to race

@tdub9899 hell yea i traded a 2000 gmc sanoma xpress(gmc's wana be xtreme) workin on interior and anything that can dry-rot. being i live in Louisiana and anything polymer does that over a long period of time. love the wissel that charger puts off. one of the only vids i can watch over and over. xD i wana see more!
Its a 383 stroker its puttin out about 800 HP estimate. I got to go for a ride in this car a couple weeks ago and it hauls some major freakin ass dude, fastest car ive been in!
Having your rollbar welded onto your wheel-wells aren't going to do you any good. Since you took the time to build a rollbar, you need to weld the bottom posts into the frame. The bar behind the seats looks like they are in the frame. The rest of the bars need the same effort if they are to be fully functional and keep that beautiful 69 straight. Besides, with the power that motor is producing, you need the extra rigidity a proper rollbar will give you. I speak from experience. I have a 67 El Camino with a full rollbar and 4-link. It does take more time to weld them in correctly, but when you find yourself "wheels up," you'll be glad you took the extra time to do it right. Do you still have the car?
@@traceanthony3588 Damn I forgot I ever posted this and No in a sense it's not. A Blower is that typically Large typically 3 hole scoop that sits atop the Supercharger with a Carb on the inside that acts as an Air ram... This Elco doesn't have a ram, it's just 2 Carbs sitting out... Now sure those 2 joints under the Carbs SUCK IN the air, they don't RAM in the air like a Blower, triple or single style blower.
if your going to make an amazing motor with all sorts of power why would you drive like a grandpa. yeh that's what we want to see a guy drive his blower car as slow as possible the entire video.
That's one sick ride! Small block Chevys never die; they just go faster.
