What a Beauty at the end. The price is a bit high i was thinking at the beginning of the video. But i am sold.When i get my holiday bonus just before the 1th of july, i am gooing to order it. And a transkit for 3 type stationcar. Blowing my budget through the roof this year. Again a superbuild from the A4 master. And he is almost at the 200k subscribers mark. I wonder WHAT will be his 200k subs Special build. And don,t forget to like his video,s,he deserves it more than some people thinks.

Tip: if you get Super Glue/CA Glue on your fingers don't use chemicals to try to remove it, instead use Sand Paper or a Nail File and sand the glue. It works great and does not harm the skin. 👌

Damn, clean and new cars looks perfect, but old, rusty and mangled bmw's also have their charm. Especially in my country, when those premium old cars sometimes being used by people who don't have enough money to restore it. Video gives lot of inspiration and model also looks cool

That’s amazing! The only thing I noticed that was off were the wheels. The m5 had style 65 rims and the rims on your model are style 66. The style 66 came on the m sport e39.
Style 66 was an option for winter wheels for the M5. The kit had the 65s as well.
Also rear wheel wells have too little clearance, camber a bit odd.
One suggestion - roof linings are usually grey fabric . Chassis and underside of the car is almost always black. The body paint is outstanding 😊

Nicely done. You make these look so effortless. Gorgeous model.
I’m still learning how to do a good glossy finish.
Last time what I did was, prime, sand with 1500, paint color, gloss 3 times, sand 1500 2500 4000 6000 8000 10000, and then do the tamiya compound combo.
But I find that I can still see very fine scratches or sometimes it’s still a little blurry and not clear enough.
I will try to do it your way in my next build and see how it goes 😁

KK Scale released E39 saloon and touring - sealed diecast - 1:18. Plus OTTO made M5 in resin but those are expensive being old models

Great resin model.....you have to have lots of time and pacience to build them....when i buy the 1/43 resin models are very expensive but i know the work behind it also the quality and details in them

Kit comes with two wheels set. I prefer this one because it's looking way better than the other imo.

Absolutely stunning
Awesome and very classy color combo. I love the undercarriage I have two left hands so still waiting for Otto to release an M5 in a config I like ;) Couple things I spotted for the future if I may:
1. I guess it would help to mask the edges of headlight covers (I mean, the outer surface that touches the bumper/hood/fender) with black paint. You can see its thickness now as it reflects a lot of light and it takes away the realism.
2. The washed 'lines' on the leather look like some sort of contrasting stitching, a bit too much for me if it was supposed to just help show the dimensionality, i.e. imitate shadow. the creases on a real car are not very deep.
3. The 'bump' in the middle of a floor at the back for the driveshaft is carpeted with the floor on a real car. And color-matching tan carpeting would be nice btw, tan interiors usually had it.
4. Orange side indicators, they are usually white unless someone ordered them to be amber.
5. I love the way you painted the rims! I'd actually prefer mine to be painted this way, but originally they are a bit more dull, silvery-white.
I'm curious if you're going to attempt recreating chrome shadow finish on the M5 rims, would love to see that. Otto never even bothered with their model.
That will probably never happen, they launched the silver after 10 years and don't think they will make another colour, I bought 2 silver and one of them is getting painted carbon black to match the one in the garage, it's your best option..
@@joaoferreira9611 7.5 years ;) You might be right, but on the other hand there were multiple reissues of other BMWs lately + Black (and Imola Red) are highly sought-after, so maybe, maybe...
@@pdcichosz at this time I don't care anymore, just bought the correct colour to paint one of mine, just need to take my courage pills to being tearing it apart and paint it 👀😂
They could make the prototype e39 m5 touring, since they opened the door with the e46 😏😅💪

Salut ✋ , j’ai fait une Ferrari en résine une fois et plus jamais 👎 je ne ferais que du plastique à l’avenir. C’est la misère à à découper même avec la dremel sans abîmer les pièces. Félicitations pour le montage de cette BMW 👌 le résultat est top 👍

A very nice model and a perfect built!
But the lack of black window frame in the front and rear is quite noticeable and there is one minor issues: Either the turn signals of the E39 are all white or orange from the factory. I have never seen orange side indicators and otherwise white ones on the real car without customization.
Nevertheless, great work and I'm happy about every car model you build, because I like the videos best. Thank you for that!
Okay I see! The error with the orange side indicator is already in the building instructions. So you just followed the instructions. It's not your fault!
The black window frame on the front and rear is present on the finished model. You can see it from 28:50 onwards and at the final reveal. It is just that that dark paint colour makes it difficult to see.
@@stevie65ableI meant the missing black frame of the windscreen and rear back window. The original windscreen has a black frame under the windshield wipers and above down to the interior mirror.
Scale-a-ton also mentioned that as an improvement to the model kit, he wished that masking stickers for the front and rear window would be included, if I remember correctly. He left these. Completely crystal clear
@@florianj6490 Yes, you are correct. I see what you mean now. That part of the rear window and windscreen should have the black surround. It is very noticeable around the interior mirror where you can see the glue used to hold the mirror in place.

Possible improvements: on the windshield, there’s an upper band usually dark green or dark gray to shade interior from sunbeams, at least it was there on my 2001 E39 (530, not M). And how about the heating grid on the back window?

@Scaleaton it also works well for filling and leveling surfaces. Like your water diorama on top of foil and also your explosion lighting you made. Dip into resin, pull out cure, and repeat...if you slightly set up the resin where it is formable you can pull out flames with toothpick similar to glass blowing. . It will make believable clear explosion mass.
