Ive tested the setting, I have it off but I dont think it does very much. Only thing in my eyes it's good for is spray control but spraying sucks in this game for the most part anyway so I'd recommend off
I’ve been playing in immortal on PC for years having map rotation off. There’s no reason to have it moving its completely preference. I would argue having the map rotation off would be easier to get info at a quick glance, as you can see positions without having to adjust to whatever direction you’re looking. Most radient players I know have the rotation off so do what you prefer.
Yea thats fair, I just suggest it for new players who dont know the maps like the back of your hand. I just think its an advantage for people learning
Just wanna ask, since you bind walk to R3/RS, what about the the original R3 key. So far I didn’t find a better solution too keep everything on all the button, I’ve tried replace crouch to walk but at some cases I got a bit annoyed without it. Currently I’m changed it to R3(use/activate), but when I’m using Jett’s ult, I can’t use the second fire mode (default R3). May I ask for your button settings with walk? It will be much helpful ❤
Yea youre really limited on controller unfortunately, I believe I have use/activate and focus mode unbound and then I have walk and crouch on L3/R3 rn but I wanna switch that to paddles once I get a scuf. Honestly it ultimately is preference I think theres down sides to pretty much any configuration you just pick which downsides you wanna deal with

Yea great question, this setting doesnt really do much to be honest. Imo this is good for controlling sprays, bad for being able to switch between multiple targets (while shooting) so for more experienced players off for sure, if it's more comfortable for you I dont think its detrimental

They need to add a toggle walk..i instantly wanted to use a button to walk but holding it down was so unoptimal
To be honest, that's what I expected too, and while it's annoying to have to hold, after thinking about it deeper it's actually infinitely more effective than toggle which is why I think it's not an option. Toggle is so clunky when you need to quickly go in and out of it, so I think it isn't as comfortable as it is on keyboard but worth getting used to
@@PestVAL maybe its preference, because on pc i used toggle as it made it much easier to focus on other things which is vital when trying to lurk, ect
On pc its probably optimal to use hold but the reason why it cant really work on console is due to a lack of buttons for inputs, and even if there is a button available for it, holding it down is always going to be uncomfortable and mess with your aim
Binding it to a joystick button as hold would make your movement/ aim extremely clunky and bad, (i play claw and i tried it on the buttons on even that was clunky to use, and i even have 2 paddles and using those felt clunky as well.
The best way for the setting to be in the game is as a toggle, maybe bound to left stick or a paddle, allowing you to comfortable move your stick around then toggle as soon as you are in a gunfight
However to each their own, settings are preference and ive gotten used to slow walking using the joystick anyways, and after a while it doesnt feel too bad

The .5 .5 deadzone combo is really good for that because it gives you a really big no movement deadzone to work with and youre either running or still instead of controlling 3 speeds with a joystick

Currently my back left paddle is my walk, I just got a scuf so I'll be making an updated video shortly

Know I’m late, but in theory if you had your focus sens set to same as normal but still walking wouldn’t it accomplish the same thing as a walk button while doubling as alt fire for guns that use it?
Focus effects your aim curve and aim assist so you could technically find something very similar but I think hold to walk is better
I used a lot of your settings although I kept the Default button mapping since I have a DualSense. I don’t use the back buttons though. I just have the triggers set to their shortest click.

Im using run now but im no longer accurat at all and i takes too long to stand completely still to shoot
I think it's just something to get used too. In theory you stop faster on .5 .5 movement deadzones than anything else
What about the controller, usb communication or Bluetooth?
Always USB/Wired. Using wireless anything for competitive gaming is a big no. No wireless internet, no wireless headphones, no wireless controllers, etc.
@@Loregasmo *lmao dont type when u dont know what ure talking about. Most pro players are using wireless headphones and mouse. I am using them too, my peak is immo 3 on pc and radiant #20 on ps5 (yes, i am using wireless controller) and there is no difference. Things goes different while talking about internet connection but wireless hardware is ok*
@Loregasmo That's no longer accurate, it was for years but over the past few Bluetooth is now faster, only with specific hardware though, it's not an overall rule
Generally everyone I know that plays with bluetooth connectivity, including my duo and I. No one I've talked to noticed a difference anymore, if you could overclock your usb ports like you can on PC than wired 100%, and once they do end up putting higher hz usb capability into consoles, wired 100%. But for now I dont think it matters
Hey I switch to bumper shooter like said in video and took me time to get used to and I eventually got it but now I feel like I shouldn’t be using it because so many people tell me not to and I’m overall confused if I even like it anymore but I haven’t had much of a problem with it just people kinda clouding judgement and I can’t really shoot with trigger because I hold down to much instead of quick burst so just came to you see if you could give me any answers sorry if it doesn’t make much sense
Im gonna be honest and there's no way to say this without sounding like an a**hole, no one else is making videos that's been radiant on PC as many acts as my duo and I as well as with the controller and coaching experience I have. There's a lot of crap being spewed out there, it is hard. I'm confident anything I put in a video is generally accurate at least with what the metas have turned into and I plan to stay ahead of them 👊

I was going to give up on this game. How come I added your settings and fucking killed it in team death match. Automatic sub to you man. Literally night and day. I thought I was bad but the settings must be changed if you on console.
Note to new players, even if you don’t change much, change the outline to yellow. Big difference.

Joysticks to shoot is probably the worst thing i ever heard and its also a good way to blow through a controller. If you dont have trigger stoppers try switching your shooting to R1 or L1
If I have two buttons at the back ofbmy controller, what should i bind them to ?
I think it's preference, when I get a scuf Im trying walk and crouch on my paddles so I have anything Id use in a gunfight off my joysticks but its up to you

What should i do if im struggling with micro* adjustments?
Practice Practice Practice, no console FPS has ever forced a controller player to be pin point accurate like this before so it's gonna be a huge adjustment. Also the higher aim curves that I mentioned make your sens lower for smaller movements which also help

For the most part, I work with my editor on the thumbnail and intro and then I do everything else currently
U think 5 base 5 custom. with normal dead zone and heavy then light light I keep struggling with micro adjustments and need somthing good and want to try. I have also played you in a duo q and somehow won don’t know how my aim been terrible this week
I do think sens will be preference like always but I truly stand by having a heavy or extreme aim curve on your base sens. Even if you can get up to around 7-9 instead of 10-14 like I mentioned in the video I think its a huge advantage
The last setting, HRTF are made for those high end earphone that Tenz use. Not headphone

I notice a huge difference with my astros on PC, audio on console just kinda sucks right now as a whole though so we'll see

Generally I dont think its terrible, I just think if you can hit the same shots consistently without it, it gives you a lot more freedom not having to toggle in and out of modes. I also have been adsing long range a lot recently with vandals and liking it a lot I can't lie

You have crouch bound to L3 and seem to crouch in almost gun fight yet you say not to bound things to L3 and R3? What’s the deal with crouch spraying in this game? Is it something we should start doing or
I crouched with a phantom, which in the case you have good accuracy and spray control it's okay, Vandal you should pretty much always be on your feet. As well as in highest elo, crouching is much less of a disadvantage than in lower elos because it's very rare both parties in a gunfight will both miss, making moving after shooting less important. So yes, you should continue getting comfortable with moving and counter strafing in fights. As far as the button binds, I dont have a scuf yet but when I do I'll be putting crouch and walk on my paddles
people say that crouch spray is only good form like 15m or less, bc from far away the height that crouching decreases is less effective from range
@@gg-pp2mp There's a bunch of technicals to this, generally you're not wrong, but I still strongly recommend always staying on your feet in anything under ascendant. I'll make more in depth coaching videos on stuff like this in the future

I ended up just putting the numbers on screen in the video, if any crosshair setting isnt listed underneath it means it's off or 0

Soooooo many quitters so many weirdos. How this game has survived is beyond me. Everyone’s been watching their favourite streamer have there games thrown for 4 years and just wanna be apart of it. This game would do better at $69.99 than free so all the 14 year olds can keep playing the Roblox version.

Not gonna lie, games not perfect but it's still one of the best ones out there and best taken care of games in general. As well as, there's very few complaints about the game itself, every complaint I hear including yours is human based. Throwers, AFKs, toxic players, smurfs, while I agree there's things they could do better, the FPS alternatives aren't any better and usually much worse
