I just started playing yesterday. TONS of FPS experience but never played this style of shooter. I'm having to constantly remind myself how this game works mechanically and force myself to stop moving and trying to shoot or navigating the map like I would in COD. It's been a lot of fun but the play style is so foreign to me. I have good games where it clicks, crosshair placement good, moving and peeking properly, then the next game I completely forget everything and try to run and gun the entire map, never stop to shoot, wondering how I'm getting turned on and one shot. No in between lmao
Same! The slower the playstyle, the harder it is for me. I'm not impatient, but fast movement and many opportunities to challenge an opponent, like jumping over something, sliding, or faking a move, were always easy for me. My playstyle was wierd, making it unpredictable. However, in Valorant, it's completely different. It's slow, quiet, and every shot is important. The time to kill is also new for me. I come from games like Destiny, Halo, and Overwatch, and I mastered those games, but Counter-Strike and Valorant are difficult for me, and I always have to remind myself to calm down because it's the tactics that count. I'm now Platinum 1, which is okay, but in other FPS games, I was always high rank. Patience and practice make the difference!
Can you make a video on how to push site properly, and on how to retake after bomb is planted? These are the things I am struggling with as a new player
Yeah I gotchu. Chances are you might even be pushing properly and just have very bad entry. It’s typically good to combine an initiators abilities with another agent who can get on site fast.
Ur the first UA-camr I’ve come across that has the L3 as knife I do too lmao it’s like my sprint to instantly get out of a sticky situation that how I thought of it and it’s worked out for me
They just announced they are resetting everyone’s rank. Idk if it’s a good or bad thing, but there were definitely a lot of people in high ranks with horrible game sense. There were also times you’d get gold players on your team and the other team would be all immortals. It’s just cooked overall.
you get an asshole thats yelling threw the mic isnt gonna help everybody else what he's saying is true facts now since im a new player at this and on how many times i died trying to improve i havent gotten a single word from players but in the future
Yeah hard pass on that first one lol. Never played val till Xbox but iv played csgo for about 12 years and counter strafing works just as well in val as csgo "never stop moving but don't lose accuracy"
Going about it the nice way and not yelling at your teammates does not do anything. They’re not gonna take constructive criticism that’s why they’re bad
Wasted 20 bullets but somehow missed 37 times … 😂

I started off as good and now I can’t even win a gunfight with a level 3 😢😢

How do you swap between ads and focus while playing?
Click right stick while focusing if you're on Valorant control scheme
Do you need to counterstrafe or do you just let go of the stick
Just let go of the stick and make sure you are not moving before you take the shot
Counterstrafing is good, but not super essential. I like to do it with sheriff, but I don’t really do it with Vandal or Phantom that much.
Great video as a complete noob ive been playing super aggressive on defense and post plant as jett and ive been peeking the way u Said was bad
how do you get the reticle you have?
How u guys dodge games on console?
Just don’t select a character. You’ll only get a warning if you do it once every now and then. If you do it repetitively you’ll get suspended
Console val is so weird everyone in radiant and immo just insta crouch spray. It feel so weird finding someone straffing.

@@Gravlyyimo I like it, I was immortal and I had teammates that smoked off my team and whiffs even when the enemy isn’t looking at them

Yeah some people won’t listen but it doesn’t help if you are talking shii to your teammates cause it will just tilt them and everyone in your lobby.
