Thanks for watching! I personally prefer the black one as well. It's funny how I thought I was going to like the camo one more when I preordered the watches, but now that I have them both, the black one is a solid winner!
I personally love the camouflage pattern. I've had the camo MT-G for about 2 weeks now.
The camo pattern isn't bad at all. It's very unique and has it's own charm. It was just a little more flashy than I was expecting. How are you liking the camo MTG?

Thanks for the side by side. Great video. You helped me make my decision to get the non-camo one. I love the regular watch as its more discreet, and, it looks like a square g-shock. Only a true gshock fan would notice that it is the top of the line metal Ti one. Thanks again.
Absolutely! I'm glad I could help. When I ordered them, I thought I was going to like the camo one more. Once I had the watches in hand, boy I was wrong. The all black one is definitely the nicer watch. It's more legible, more subdued, and far more versatile: it would make a great one watch collection. The camo on the other hand is more of a novelty/statement piece.

@@-eyl3343 I got mine recently, it's brilliant. I think Casio hit a home run with this watch. Build quality of MR-G but classic square. I have the steel version but the Ti version is much lighter and very comfortable to wear. I did add some 3m paint protector tape to the bottom of the clasp to prevent scratches. Just an FYI :)

Amen to that! But that's just my opinion lol. I didn't realize how much more I would like the black one until I had it in hand. From the photos, I totally thought I was going to like the camo one more.
Probably going now one thing you notice is so light super Square G-Shock
@@greenerick Yeah, it's very light and well balanced on wrist. I weighed the black version on my other video and it came out to 107 grams with a full bracelet.

I have the black and camo. I also prefer the black because it's less "blingy".
I have the black version too. I think it's not that less blingy. People do notice it. Because there are certain facets on the watch case and bracelet that is high polish black.
@@Davyjones5454 I actually somewhat prefer it if it's all matte black. But I guess the polished part is to show some sort of sophistication. Have you ever held the camo version? It's way more polished and shiny.

G-Shcoks are really fine and I really enjoy them, but 1,6k for that..
If you hate the shiny bezel grab a matte one from AliExpress.

It really depends what you are going for. If you want something flashy/shiny that is more of a statement piece, go with the camo model. If you want a watch that is more subdued, more legible, and more versatile, definitely go with the all black. My personal preference is the black one if that helps.

If you are referring to the region code such as "1jf" or "AER", then yes, there are no differences at all between the watches. The only thing I've noticed is that one came with Japanese packaging and the other came with English packaging. Hope this helps!

Any other models with camo pattern and less expensive?
It is a resin watch but look up the Casio G-Shock GD-120CM. Goes for about 80 bucks but it has no multiband/solar or bluetooth. Still a nice watch.
One More Time I just looked at this one. It’s alright. What are your thoughts on the GM5600B-3? It’s got some camo on the dial and olive green strap.
@@Adamas11 It depends on what your looking for. That watch is nice but it also lacks solar/bluetooth/multiband. If you are not looking for those features it is a good choice. Just be aware that although the bezel of the watch is metal, the case of the watch is resin. This means that the watch wont have the heavy quality feel of the metal g-shocks but it also means that it will be more comfortable on wrist as it is lighter. The only concern I really have is that the bezel is black ion coated metal, which can scratch and develop a beat up look over time. I think the first few scratches will look displeasing but once it builds a few scratches it would look real nice. An example of the aged look can be seen in the following model : GMW-B5000V Hope this helps!
I'm close to pulling the trigger on the patina effect metal G-Shock. Can you tell me do these have the stn display? I can't get on with most negative displays but I find the stn negative display is actually ok. I have a protrek with an stn negative display and it's absolutely fine but all other negative displays just do my head in.
I believe you are referring to the Casio GMW-B5000v model. That watch has module 3459 which is marketed as having an STN display.
This watch is really cool. However the outrageous price is a real turnoff. It's not worth 1600 us.
Second hand prices are much cheaper. Can be found new on ebay now for much less too!

Does this watch have vibration alarm instead of the sound one?
It has just sound. There are models with vibration alarm such as the Casio GD 350 but nothing in a metal case.
