All the best Mr Roger Federer... you are simply the best amongst the best and though I don't play tennis, I loved to watch you play and it's the aura on and off the court that carries your magnetic persona to every person who sees you. God bless you and your lovely family and all those who have been with you.

I can stich some very important moments of my life of last 19 years with the success (and failures) of his career.
With his career coming to an end like we’ve known it, there is a constant flashback of those moments of mine tied to his. I used to feel that the world is a happy place after a Fedarar GS win!
It’s gut wrenching and I am unable to explain and understand it. Tennis and my life, will never be the same again.
As for Rafa, for not liking him only and only because of Federar’s defeats, I am sorry about my immaturity at the time.

I think Rafa was emotional not just for Fed, but I think he was equally emotional because he saw the very near future of his own retirement. I think 2023 will be Rafa’s last year, maybe at Laver Cup or World Tour Finals.

Having being a serious tennis fan after playing with 3 good friends 2 who were top County & 3rd our Junior National number 1 over 25 years ago, Roger was the only player I had to watch play as his game was like watching a Masterpiece being painted-every match he played shots nobody would even think of, even better was seeing the audience look at each other as if to say - is that even possible or was it just Magic they saw. One of the greatest sportsman to walk the planet who gave back in equal measure.
Nobody has played the game with such grace & effortless to watch -poetry in motion .
Tennis won’t be the same without Roger that’s for sure despite new talent such as Alcaraz, Auger -Aliassime , Berrettini etc who all while being immense talent just don’t have the Aura Roger has or the ability to make it look so simple
