I have watched a ton of Neptune setup videos (including the outdated Various/ Neptune setup one mentioned) and this has to be the most direct and thorough one yet. GREAT JOB!
Awesome. This is great 👍. Agreed man. This cable made it possible for me to add programming to have my Varios return pump slowly ramp up after a feed cycle to allow my overflow’s siphon to catchup quicker (doesn’t send excess water down secondary drains) Cheers 🍻
Not certain why it is now different, but using an A2 APEX that is running AOS 5.10 8F22 (with the VarioS 2/2-S model and controller), port naming seems to be as follows: (JACK 1) Left-facing port currently has labeled VARSPD1_I1 and VARSPD2_I2, each corresponding to the two 0-10v jacks. (JACK 2) Right-facing port currently has labeled VARSPD3_I3 and VARSPD4_I4, each corresponding to the two 0-10v jacks. Everything else in your video is spot-on and extremely helpful, including the valid link to the cable on Amazon (US$12.99 at the time of this posted thread). One other thing I noticed (but perhaps just a bonehead move on my part) is that there is a slight delay of about 1-2 seconds from the time I toggled the Apex Fusion switch to "ON" and when the VarioS 2 impeller actually begins spinning.
hello. best regard. I would like to know please and if possible how the cables are distributed in the RjJ45 connector. a photo is possible. It's that he wants to do it. Since comparing it to the USA and taking it to my country is very expensive. thank you

Thanks, I'm glad you thought so I put a lot of time into it.

What’s the programming for that. That’s exactly what I need so my ato doesn’t kick on every time I turn back on after feeding

Amazing video. Best content on youtube that explains how to configure a varios pump to apex.
Glad it helped, thanks for the kind words.
Very nice. I bought the same cable and could not find a video that explained this.
Glad it helped
Awesome thanks for this video
The ports are (left ethernet) VARSPD3/VARSPD4 (Right Ethernet) VARSPD1/VARSPD2 And the I1,I2,I3,I4 are the jack(s) you used on the other end.
Nice bro
Thanks
Link is no longer active. Seems like IceCap isn't a thing anymore. But I do still need to connect my Apex to my Reef Octopus
can you control the intensity of the pump. using feed mode?

Sorry want to make sure I get the correct wire, do you have a link for it?
Sorry about that I thought I put it in the description but must have forgot.
Here is a link to the one I bought amzn.to/38HgGHM
So this will also open up/save an outlet on the eb832?
I definitely commented to soon lol ty
Haha glad it was helpful :-)
