    When I was 15, I remember seeing this car for the first time and thinking “it doesn’t quite know what it wants to be.” This one looks very good, and you should do well with it. Thanks for sharing it with us.

      Right you are, because this generation of Thunderbird was nothing more than a glorified Fairmont of that era, same platform. It was just to keep the nameplate alive until the next generation was introduced. Pretty example though and should do well.

    Had one we bought new in 82 almost identical to that… bought it in Exeter NH while working in Seabrook NH

    Owned one, brand new bought off the showroom floor.
    Worst car I ever owned, poorly designed a big headache
    .

    I remember when these cars were new. My dad worked for Ford in Chicago. We were excited to see the new cars. I like how they look but I wish I could go back in time and un-invent the vinyl top.
