very awesome documentary. I am lucky to be living in China and mostly understand the Chinese version. I feel it gives way more comprehension when you understand EACH word said by the person himself. What i noticed from this documentary is that for many of us, this sport is physical sport. But for them, it's a psychological, mental and philosophical game. One of the most beautiful sentences said by the coach: 乒乓球要用心打的 = You need to use your heart to play table tennis
I try to on a regular basis, it's just hard to keep up from time to time! I have dropped of a few comments here and there, but will try to be a bit more active. I had the good fortune of spending two weeks in Wuhan and Huangshi during the 2015 A-league (or whatever the league under the CTTSL is called), and have been completely captivated by the Chinese table tennis culture ever since. Visiting your blog and this youtube-channel can and often does quench my thirst for further knowledge and insight :)
Too bad for LSW. If she was born 2 years earlier or later, she could have won the Olympic women's singles! She is stuck between two generations of talents: Li XiaoXa - Ding Ning and Chen Meng - Sun Yingsha.
