I have to say, we have a Shark.. can't remember the model but I bought it after stumbling on Vacuum Wars channel and diving into the content. We have been so happy with that vacuum. Every time VW's uploads a video I will watch even though we are not in the market for a new vacuum. I watch because the presentation is so good, upfront and concise.
    100 % entertaining.

I bought one from Walmart last year made by Tineco and absolutely LOVE it, I use it every day. Rechargable but no removable battery. LED lights, lockable switch so you don't have to hold it on. 3 speeds, although I have not once remembered to adjust the speed, I just turn it on, lol. It was originally $99 when I got it. Loved it so much I wanted a 2nd one just in case it turned out to not last long but when I went back a couple months later, they'd marked it up to $149 by then. I've been using it for over a year and still love it. The LEDlights do flicker here & there, brush roller makes noise as if something is stuck in there but I've taken it apart (would love quick release here but nope) nothing is there. I do use it 99.9% only on hard floors, I just have one very flat area rug that i use it on, but I don't use it on carpeting with any pile to it. I'd love to see VacWars do a review on how Tineco stacks up with the others in this class. I also got an Amazon flash deal on another brand at $79 or $89 last year and have used it a couple times but although I think that one may have more power, the tilting/rotating head is SUPER flopsy and over rotates during use so it will be saved as a backup if my Tineco breaks or dies. I will get that brand later when I get back home

Cheap vacuums like this will be the Vacuums front line soldiers. In the next Vacuum War, units like these will be doing invasions and landings. Although numerous, with proper tatics we should be able to dispatch them. We should probably test to see the weaknesses of Vacuums like the Samsung Bespoke Jet.
Vacuum Wars, could I kindly ask you as a Vacuum War veteran, please test the Samsung Bespoke Jet (it's that Jet 95 that they took so long to release).

the innovation in these Chinese vacs came from 2-4 years ago. the LCD display and removable battery pretty recent though. the latest on Chinese vacuums are brushless motors and multiple cyclone filtration under $200 which I hope you find and get tested.
The W100 has one of the most basic filtration, it will get clogged or weak suction in just three sessions. The W300 has it better but this filtration design came about at least four years ago which gets weaker for about five-seven sessions of vacuuming

Hmmm I wonder what the replacement part situation with these cheap vacuums is? One of the appeals of getting a Dyson is you can replace most of the parts when they wear out or get damaged. While these are impressive for the price if they're meant to be just another cheap disposable vacuum that's no good for the environment.

Curious to know how tool brand stick vacuums stack up to the competition. Ryobi, Milwaukee and Craftsman all come to mind when thinking of the stick vacs. So far I’ve seen a lot of reviews on the Ryobi and it seems to do very well for the price and is versatile when considering you can share the batteries with your tools. TTI who produces Ryobi and Milwaukee products also own Hoover and Dirt Devil so I can imagine it is well designed, borrowing knowledge from those sister companies. Would still love to see testing done on Vacuum Wars putting these brands head to head with the Dysons and Sharks of the world.

Have you tried W300's floor head with LED to others? Are they interchangeable?
Just my input, if reviewing cordless stick vacuums please also mention are the dust canister fully removeable from the vacuum body itself or not. It's for easier maintenance and washing without having to worry that might damage the vacuum body with water.
When buying cordless stick vacuums the two main things I'm considering are detachable battery (which you mentioned in this video and it's very helpful as deciding factor), and fully (not partially) detachable dust canister, and third is filtration.
Anyway, ai've never get enough from your videos. I always enjoy them.

You basically have to dig the dirt/debris out of the bin. No anti-hair wrap technology on the handheld, unlike my Vertex. Just my personal opinion. Still searching for that perfect cordless handheld with a long crevice tool.

For an extra 90 bucks when compared to the cheapest model, you can catch a Dyson v8 refurbished on sale for $199 I would not call these things passable by any means. Also, a longevity test needs to be done on these cheap made in China vacuums, as they all carry B grade batteries that can not hold a charge past 3-6 months with regular use. I would rather get a Dyson refurbed or catch a Samsung Jet 60 can also be had for $159 when on sale. For only a little more, you can have a much better vacuum.

    • @zodiacfml
      @zodiacfml 2 роки тому +2

True. What this channel doesn't account for is the effectiveness of filtration from clogging/weak suction after several use. this information could be great for those buying Chinese cordless vacuums. The Dyson V8 could be used several more times until it need washing the pre motor filter.

I have the w200 and I have to say for $100 it’s not that bad. It does very well on hard floors but I’ve found that while I was vacuuming, the brushroll would randomly eject itself out of the head. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. And I didn’t like the filtration setup on it. I would have liked a brushroll a little stiffer so it could clean carpets. In my house jt didn’t really do well at all. But I actually have been unable to use it. About a week after I got it, it suffered a fall. I had it standing up on a wall and it toppled over. The little spring that hold the bin latch on had sprung off somewhere never to be found again. And something inside may have come loose. It sounds like something is livening inside although it still turns on. But since the bin doesn’t stay closed, I can’t use it. So the build quality is certainly far from great but is just ok. I probably wouldn’t buy another but for the price, they are ok.

Great review! Where do these machines originate from? Something for end users to consider is how accessible parts are for these units for when they need them, brushrolls, filters, dirt bins, etc. I run into a lot of situations where people purchased unestablished brands only to find out the company folded or they don't offer parts soon after.

This must be a rhetorical question. Anything in the ultra cheap range has a 90% chance of being a dropshipped product from China with names changing between regions but not the actual product itself. In fact, with its price range, it is definitely meant to be disposable - something buyers would use for 2 years maximum before moving so they can get a new machine to go with their new home. It is up to the community to look for compatible parts, which would cost as much as a new vacuum anyway

We have a similar style vacuum and the only problem has been after about 18 months of use the dust bin door no longer seals as well as it has in the past. i am wondering if this is a design problem with all the vacuums that have this type of dust bin design or did we just get a cheap one that failed after 18 months. I would be interested in your opinion / experience. When I first got it I was wary of the dust bin design, specifically the opening mechanism and its durability. While 18 months is a decent length of time I would like to have lasted longer.
