Listen...it's a GOOD day when the cat crate is harder to deal with than the cat itself lol
"For the first time in a long time, Hazel will feel the air on her crotch" - is not something I was aware that cats yearned for. 😄
Despite being grumpy about it all, she was pretty well behaved and brave. Kudos to the cat.
Why do people get long hair cats and dogs if they won't maintain them? Urine soaked mats... Unacceptable. Especially on such a tolerant cat. A sani shave isn't expensive. Brushing your own cat is free. A simple brush out at the groomers is cheap. It's infuriating and one of the many things I don't miss about grooming.
I'm sure this poor distinguished lady wasn't cussing at you, Vanessa. Those sounded like cries of confusion.
She spent that entire session telling you how that crate really worked. 😂😂😂
I still can't believe how calm the cats are at having their nails trimmed. It's unbelievable. My cat would have had a fit. Lol
I can't help but giggle at the idea of the owner getting that cat back, looking in the front of the crate, going, "Oh, wow, he got a real nice wash and combing! Not much of a trim, though," then opening the crate and seeing the rear half of him! He looks great, but that would be a shock to me if I didn't know what to expect XD
The meowing with her face pushed up against the corner of the rage cage absolutely killed me
This is the first pet you have groomed that I have actually felt sorry for. Not because of anything you (the groomer is doing). Poor baby is crying for help. You can tell someone loves their cat, because she is the biggest sweet heart.
Hazel: Meows incessantly.
I love her instant response:
I had a cat who sounded a lot like Hazel when we gave her baths. Often telling us "No". But we just kept telling her "yes". She lived to 19 years old proving that taking a bath wasn't the death sentence she made it out to be.
Vanessa with even the largest angriest client: sssshhh my precious baby sweetie, everything will be okay, here is a treat
Vanessa: "you're ok"
Every time I have issues with a carrier door, I just think "I have TWO college degrees, and I am being outsmarted by a cat carrier!" Which is sad, because as a vet nurse, I have to deal with these things regularly. 🤣😅

I love Hazel so much, her voice is so cute 😭 her meows almost sound like a human imitating a cat and it’s so funny
I love how at the end she's still crying dramatically but laying there just taking it. I have a cat just like that. You'd think he was being murdered but he doesn't fight back at all. Very tolerant cat of everything except other cats and dogs.
“This person is obviously hard of hearing, I just need to meow louder and she’ll get it!”
