Just saw it. Really enjoyed it. Was not expecting it to be above a C movie but it was a good B for me. Kudos to the screams in this. Also Sydney did a very good job producing it. A little offended on some of the religious aspects but it went with the story. So to be expected but they did not go over the tip with religious offense. Reminded me of the trailer for The First Omen. Decent matinee movie. Would not pay more then $9 to see it st night. Definitely opens doors for Sydney to do more like this and opens up her abilities. She made this movie terrific.

I'm a Christian, and an avid movie watcher. In fact, I have had an AMC A-List subscription since July 2021, which let's you see up to three movies a week, and I go as often as I can. But there are certain movies I refuse to watch. Movies like The Nun II, Exorcist: Believer, The First Omen, and even Immaculate. Instead of being offended that these movies are being made and making a big fuss about it and trying to get people to boycott the films, I simply just don't watch them. I've seen people so worked up over these movies. They're going to be made whether you like it or not. Edit: I feel like I have to clarify... I'm not against these movies existing or people watching them. I just personally don't watch some of them. I love horror movies, there's just some I choose not to watch. If you want to see them, I'm not saying anything bad about you. I'm legit glad you enjoy them.

My feelings were EXACTLY the same as yours going into it. I went cos Sydney Sweeny dressed as a nun (yeah, I’m a pervert, live with it). But holy shit, this movie was WAAAAY better than I thought it would. And Sweeny was TREMENDOUS. Minor spoiler - her screaming in that final scene? Wow. Absolutely incredible
This is a 10/10 for me. Knew exactly what it was, I predicted the “twist” the moment a certain item was shown and described, and it paid off beautifully and didn’t overstay its welcome.
Overall this movie was just okay but hilarious at times and not scary. The minute the priest said this nail has the blood and tissue of Jesus Christ on it being part of your pregnancy. I bursted out laughing. So much is also borrowed from the terrible first Nun film and more. This subgenre is becoming self parody at this point.
I also could tell Sydney Sweeney wanted to make this movie I was interested once thinking the possibilities while watching , I see why she's really been bringing hit movies the last couple months and see what she's been working on since euphoria hiatus
I really enjoyed this movie especially since I did a double feature with late night with the devil both bangers. 9/10. Sidney Sweeny was the best part of the movie. I’m happy we are starting to get great horror movies now since 2024 has started with stinkers.

Wouldn’t say I’m a practicing Catholic nowadays, but I did take offense to how they characterized the church in the movie. Didn’t help that I just didn’t enjoy the movie to begin with. But it was a double whammy. Like there’s a lot of inaccurate stuff about how they portray the church and stuff like that turns me off
I liked the route they decided to take with the reveal in this, certainly subverted some of my expectations, and especially with The First Omen (the trailers for which makes it seem very similar to this movie) on the horizon for next month. If this movie doesn’t scratch some people’s itch, I’m sure that one might.
Just got back from watching it and I was the only one in my theater! I did enjoy it. It had its flaws and it wasn't spectacular, but it kept me entertained and I thinks it's worthy of a viewing.

Even toddlers can distinguish the two why are so many people with access to literally all of the information in the world at their fingertips so ignorant
i just saw it today. i was not expecting much from this film. the trailer wasn't enticing. but, i was somewhat hopeful. honestly, the beginning of the film is very intresting. its beautifully shot. great twists and turns. it definitely kept you intrigued. however the ending was not exciting or thrillin at all. they could have done way more with the ending very anti-climatic

For me, I don't care how good some may say the movie is, if they are. Seeing the trailer was enough for me to not even care to go see it. I don't understand why Sydney Sweeney feels the need to show off her body in this movie. It adds nothing. When I saw the seven where these lying in the water abd you can clearly see her breast. I grt it, she has a nice body. She knows it and others do as well. But that's no reason to make a horror movie about a nun of all movies and feel the need to show a scene where you cab. Learky see her naked body through clothing. To me its tasteless and it takes away from the movie. Was the director and producer not confidant enough in what they created that they felt the need to specifically show that scene. I get it if it must be in the movie, fine. But to go out of one's way to make it a scene in the trailer is stupid. I may be and probably am in the minority but there it is.
