In relation to Afghanistan and other countries - you can’t run a country without the majority . When you oppress the majority you foster hate and fear - this is what US want . Cuba and Venezuela are similar examples - Cuban people are the sweetest people on earth and same with people from Venezuela . People from Afghanistan and Pakistan also are the nicest people most humble - they need real help and guidance - not war and oppression by Americans .

Came out with a huge headache...lots of known/repeated issues without result or is the solution...plans???...strange...i felt bad for Rafic Hariri, he wasted these years building / teaching / etc. to be considered as one of the falling visionary politicians...if he wasn't assasinated i would have started a compain to leberate lebanon from his occupation...the lebanese are much more independent and can do it to free the country...there is no need for people like hariri, we love beirute as it was after the civial war...he would have lived a life with misary between his buisness in SA and Sardinia,suffering from living life as good as it can be^^??^^..get it /got it / good

If my memory serves me right, the ban of news which Mrs. Moukaled was talking about happened by Michel Smaha minister of information back then. The main reason they did it was after the explosion of the "saydet il najet" church, the government considered that TV stations were causing sectarian strife by their reporting of the incident.
Interesting talk -- points never lead - as usual Lebanese talk - no action - are these talks having a target - do people of intellect want to drive change - how ? Lebanese just talk complain swear and do not do anything at all . Many points can and should be tackled : 1- treating all people fairly - woman and others - is law - it is not an option - 2- importing the west cultures is totally wrong - their cultures are horrific . 3- trusting the west is what lead to lebanon detriment and distraction on top of its people 1st then it’s corrupt leaders Etc etc etc
