IVE been on both the 2023 Xmax 300 is better has room under seat for 2 full size helmets.. not tiny like this .. also Xmax rides better feels easier to zip around curves ....Xmax has 75 mpg going 70 mph ....Xmax is way better for what I paid $6299 out the door !!!!
I'm 6'3" 205 lbs and my knees don't get close at all to handle bars on my 2023 Xmax ....also mirrors on that suck ...sorry the truth ... Xmax is perfect you can see all around in back of you .........there's no doubt about it Xmax is way way way better ....that's why I bought 2023 Xmax that goes 87 mph all day long !!!!!
I've ridden with my friends Bev 400 and he said there's no way he can take off as fast or go as fast as my Xmax 300 !!! Xmax = 397 lbs. BEV 400 = 460 lbs
I owned a Vespa 250cc & a Vespa 300cc scooter 3-5 years ago. They were top of the line scooters. I really couldn't adjust to feeling as safe on them as opposed to a regular motorcycle @ higher speeds. I also currently own a Yamaha Veno 125cc scooter in which I do like since I only ride it here around in the country. Mostly I only go up to around 40mph. So that scooter I feel o.k. on. I do have other motorcycle's for higher speeds in which I feel fine. So for me, I much prefer the position of a regular motorcycle. But everyone has their own cup of tea. Thank's for your effort in producing these wonderful videos. Have a beautiful day my Slovenian friend!! Illinois, USA
I also prefer a standard motorcycle over a scooter. Somehow some scooters are better made and perform better. From my experience having bigger wheels contributes to a better feel and also it sure makes the machine more stable and safer in my opinion. This one was a nice one. I also rode and filmed the GTS300 Vespa from Piaggio. You can check it and I am sure you are gonna like it, I mean... the video. :) Joke. Thanks a lot Larry. :) You can already see what it is gonna be my next video. Cheers
There are some even more powerful than this one. I rode and filmed the Yamaha Tmax 530. You can check it. :) Thanks for tuning in Roger. I am glad that you like my videos. I hope that you are doing well. I saw that you uploaded some new stuff that I have to watch. :)
If you move the mirrors forward you will find very good rear vision. I have owned my BV400 for over 2 years now, travelled 20000ks and it is still the best mid range Scooter available if a bit expensive. My only complaint , no parking brake
@@garyvandersluis2368 Yeah, right. You know, the vast majority of scooters have no parking brakes. There are some like ridiculously expensive Yamaha, you mentioned and some models made by SYM which have a parking brake activated by the side stand. The rest have the center stand...
Muchas gracias amigo. I usually do the subtitles in English and then you have the possibility to pick the translation in almost any language that YT offers. :) I agree about the Beverly. A great machine and it goes very nicely. You can also check my video about the Yamaha Tmax. :) Scooters are nice and they serve the purpose of riding as much as bikes do in my opinion. Thanks for tuning in bro and subscribe if you like my videos. Take care. Cheers.
Nice video I have a question, how would you rank it compared to Himalayan 450 or CF Moto 450 (if you driven it) in terms of comfort and speed maybe you remember? I owna a vespa 250 thinking of upgrading since the small weals are not comfortable at all. This obviously is better for town and stuff but those two bikes offer possibilities of going off road so I am in big dilema.
Nice question bro. I can compare it to Himalayan 450. Although they are very similar in terms of power the Himaylan seems to have a bit more punch and also a bit higher top speed. Regarding the comfort I really cannot compare, both were OK I would say. The wind protection was better on the Beverly, but the Himalayan was more fun to ride. Did you check my CFmoto test ride video? :) Thanks for the comment bro. Appreciate it.
I agree Richard. I am not a big fan, but it is fun to try some. :) Once I also owned one. It was the Yamaha Majesty 180. :) Thanks for tuning in. Appreciate it mate.
I rode also that one, you will soon see it on my channel. :) Thanks for watching and commenting bro. Will post it also on your FB page if you think that this is relevant. :)

@@RRRRefuelRideRace I only ask because I own and ride a 2019 GTS 300. Would the BV 400 be an "upgrade" in highway capability? Enough to make a real difference?
@@caoimhin7122 The Beverly 400 has more power, that is right. In the same time it is bigger and more comfortable. I would say YES. Not a huge one, but still. No problem bro, you are welcome. The Beverly is also quite a lot more comfortable for the passenger. :)
This one was a lot of fun. :) You should try one. I think that it is gonna be a piece of cake considering that you rode some very heavy machines. :) Thanks for taking the time bro. Appreciate it.
Don't get this scooter get the 2023 Xmax 300. It is far superior than this ....I know I tested both .....Xmax has more storage ...in fact twice as much storage under the seat better gas mileage better mirrors better everything
The mirrors could be better and also the windscreen design could be nicer. Otherwise a well made machine in my opinion. Thanks for taking the time Derek. Cheers.
@@RRRRefuelRideRace Don't get delusional, I am not your mate. I wanted to buy this scooter and went to test it, as I saw in multiple review videos how loud it is and how much noise comes from the transmission. That was a shame because, even if the combination of tall front wheel and that 35 HP engine looked interesting, its annoying noise killed any ”attraction”.
