For me, the best performance and interpretation of the K427 is this "Deutsche Gramophone" recording from 1991, with Arleen Augér, Frederica von Stade, Frank Lopardo and the great Leonard Burstein!
One of those pieces of music that only comes to life when you have a soprano with musical intelligence and refinement, singing gently through the heights and thus allowing others to add texture.
beautiful. Great Mass (and Requiem) are my favourites of whole history of music.

Probably my favorite part of the Great Mass.

Sublime!!! Great performance!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Sólo Tú eres SANTO, fuente de toda santidad
Sublime
I love the timbres of the soloists.
Agreed about the tempo...this can be such a vibrant and joyous movement and it's a bit too slow...but what fabulous singing!

btw, the C does not have to be lower case when simply in a title. Upper and lower case is just for analysis. Very common mistake.
@shostakk that explains the post '80s wardrobe and hair.
I do
Salieri gave the thumbs down-
Wonderful singers bit painfully slow tempi make out all sound labored and rhythmically unstable.
you dum.
Sadly, there is no Mozart in this performance, only Bernstein and his monstrous ego.
Does anyone else find the tenor kinda bizarre sounding?
no
Thank you for your in-depth analysis.
