I'm more fond of Rockers and Guitar Lessons than most people, so I'm a little biased, but I still feel like this is one of the coolest parts of Rhythm Heaven. being able to jam out in front of the characters from the game is very fun
I completely agree and I'm not even such a huge fan of either of those things. I think Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Tengoku (with the drumming minigames after you beat every minigame) spoiled us quite a lot in this regard. Real pros do the taps correctly. There were many instances where you did the beginner method of holding the stylus down the whole time instead of playing the taps the cpu gives you. For example, you played during Frog Hop 2: ... CHANG ... CHANG ... CHANG ... CHANG When you should have played: chk chk CHANG chk chk CHANG chk chk CHANG chk chk CHANG Of course, this is just a style thing if you think the game is too easy for you.
