Remixes 4 and 5 both have underlying themes that are super meta!
SUKURATCHOHEY! Remix 4 is a clever mix of both the Game Select themes you hear on the game select menu. The melody sounds a lot like the first line of Game Select at first, but then it switches around to 6:15. Notice where the first few notes sound like That's Paradise whose instrumental serves as the post-credits game select, Game Select 2. The two themes are combined into a fast paced Love Remix.
HERE WE GO! Remix 5 represents the three rhythm patterns in the three variations of the iconic Let's Practice Theme, the song that plays in every tutorial with the exception of BRF and Rockers, that gets you familiar with these very same rhythms scattered throughout the game.
The first section is straight and regular, corresponding to the most common practice theme. It makes an appearance before games such as Fan Club and Rhythm Rally.
The second section is swung, corresponding to the practice theme of Glee Club (I'm pretty sure it's not just Glee Club)
The third section is syncopated (what the fuck?????? maybe I should just call it plain weird), corresponding to the practice theme of Love Lizards and Karate Man.

Why don’t I do an order of my favourites?
1. Remix 3. Slow, boring and repetitive. Only plus is cute outfits on characters.
2. Remix 1. Eh. It’s remix 1. Too easy but it’s understandable.
3. Remix 2. See “Remix 1,” page 32.
4. Remix 5. Takes too long to start up but the end is great.
5. Remix 7. Repetitive, that’s all there is to it. Big rock finish is iconic at the end.
6. Remix 10. Some bits are perfect, like the SHMUP to Lockstep part, others are kinda meh.
7. Remix 4. Love the fast pace, and the Munchy monk is a nice breath of fresh air.
8. Remix 9. Love the transitions into space soccer and the music gets stuck in my head, in a good way.
9. Remix 8. Oh boy, fast one. The first and last part with ninja dog and rhythm rally were awesome, along with lockstep it feels really good to perfect.
10. Remix 6! Yes, all four games are perfect, and my favourites! Space soccer to Lockstep is really satisfying to nail, and karate joe has HAIR

The reason why Remix 3 is so slow is because it's in 12/8 time signature, while most rhythm games are in 4/4. Most of the difficulty following the rhythm comes from the change of pattern rather than the tempo

Somehow I remember exactly how every single song goes, so there's no way i'm stopping myself from tapping the beat. Love this game

Ah, si much nostalgia. I remember I was doing the Remix 8 with eyes closed. Because it's too easy at the beginning. I also love the 3, 4, 7, and 9.

I only watch these videos for the satisfaction of the rhythm being on time and perfect but all of these were like the bare minimum that you can get and still get perfect :(
