+Dustin ClawKingDustin He actually is..with the borging and all, Vader ends up as more of a 'strength' fighter than a speed fighter...which ends up being another source of rage for him, given Anakin was much more of an agility fighter.
***** Actually, he's upgrades made him faster according to the comics, it's just his lightsaber fighting style that is based around smooth defense and heavy swings.
I could watch this video over and over again just because of the energy and apparent fun that this teacher has. :D And I do. He's just awesome to watch.
this is a great video. i work at disneyland so i get to go see it alot, and it feels like your actualy there. my son went up and fought darth vader, and he had a smile on his face while watching this.
Indeed, the best edited Jedi Training Academy video on UA-cam! Although you forgot to include the scene with a lucky child using the force against the two Stormtroopers.
this is awesome! i haven't been to disneyland on a regular day in 8 years. the last time i went was for grad nite. thanks for posting this. i would love to be a stormtropper or jedi for this show.
to the people saying "Im (age number) and i wanna do this", I thought so too. I went to disneyland when i was 16 and yelled like a spartan to get picked to go up. seriously, i've never yelled harder. the jedi picking people pointed at me and said "except you who's old enough to vote!" my heart broke. =[ "Disneyland, where you never have to grow up" I thought so too. =[
I just got back from Disneyland with my roomate and her family... I am 21, soon to be 22, and I was GLUED, I tell you, GLUED to the stage! ^_^ I love SW, and I was absoulutely geeking out over this; too cool!!! I actually turned to my roomate after we saw a performance of the Jedi Training Academy and said, "Call me a nerd, but I actually got goosebumps when Darth Maul came out.." XD
Very good, looked like fun. One suggestion, maybe the jedi could get into a fight with vader, and just when it looks like he is losing, get all the kids to concentrate and focus their jedi powers to help him with a force push, knocking both vader and maul over.
@NinjaDisney I think its because Vader is for the little kids so it's easier to fight slow and soft. Mauls kinda for older kids that can keep up, at least thats what I think.
When Vader asked if someone would join him, I would have stepped up and raised my hand. Who would even THINK of passing up an oppurtunity to be an apprentice of Darth Vader!? Its insanity! And when Darth Maul comes out...I mean my god man! What jedi wouldn't wet their pants.
This was my favorite part of visiting Disneyland. I watched it like 5 times in the week we were there. It never gets old!
I love how enthusiastic Darth Maul is. xD
To think, Darth Vader and Darth Maul, two of the best Sith Lords, beaten by younglings.
That Darth Maul did a FANTASTIC job handling that toy. Props Bro.
Why is the Star Wars area in Tomorrowland? Star wars was technically set in the past.
This makes me wish I was a little kid again. I didn't see the whole show, but I saw enough to wish.
Darth Maul did everything really quickly and made it look KINDA real, Vader shoulda been a BIT more quick
Vader should of choked those little shits and slash them like a hungry cheetah.

This is definitely one of the best interactive shows at Disneyland. They made a good move with this one.
Who else here would have joined Vader and became a Sith Lord
I would have join
+FusionXGamer me
who cares about a surfboard I would have become a bounty hunter the bounty hunter named....... Cad Bane
I would. And if anybody wants to see someone join the dark side, then look up darth sariah.
+FusionXGamer Here's my plan. Join the dark side, become a Sith, defeat the jedi, marry Darth Maul.
I could watch this video over and over again just because of the energy and apparent fun that this teacher has. :D And I do. He's just awesome to watch.
Oh my God... Disney is going to shit on Star Wars harder than Lucas took a shit on Phantom Menace...
Disney's been doing this show since before they even bought Star Wars actually. So they've already been doing that to Star Wars.
Yeah, didn't think about that.
If you're under 12 this shit is awesome. If you're over, its fooking lame.
It would be awesome if there were a Jedi academy for teens and one for adults
SirDuckington Hi There is a lightsaber school somewhere in the US.
Wow, this is awesome! When i get kids, im definitively taking them there :)
I totally got the shivers when The Empire theme played!
i'm almost 45 and going to disneyland for the first time. I just can't wait to go :)
this is a great video. i work at disneyland so i get to go see it alot, and it feels like your actualy there. my son went up and fought darth vader, and he had a smile on his face while watching this.

Nice attraction for kiddoes :)
I know I'd have loved that when I was a kid.
defenitly a great show for kids!
as kid i would love to be there
This was the highlight of our visit!!!!
"What happens when you cut off an opponents arms?"
"He's completely PWNED!"
When Darth Vader said "Join me!" I would have totally joined him!! :D
I just got back from Disneyland with my roomate and her family... This is awesome. If I had kids I would physically force them to take part, haha.
I would love to have seen this. I'm a youngling at heart.
haha this is so awesome and yeah the guy playing darth maul has some cool moves :P
Very good, looked like fun. One suggestion, maybe the jedi could get into a fight with vader, and just when it looks like he is losing, get all the kids to concentrate and focus their jedi powers to help him with a force push, knocking both vader and maul over.
what a wonderful experience for those kids i wish i could have experienced it :)
What fun...
Cute little younglings...
Learning the ways of the lightsaber...
Those were the days...
Impressive.. most impressive!
man i hope this is in the Florida parks my 8 yr old cousin would love to do that!
ok, now i gotta have kids JUST to take them to this. awesome.
I would totally give it a shot.
10:51 Love the "buzz lightyear-jedi" combination
I would love to work this as a performer (Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper)
Same
this looks like a lot of fun
the guy playing darth maul is really cool, i like his action techniques
I soo wish they had this when i was a kid in disney, God that's gold
still my favorite show to work
What an epic concept!
MAN! Is Darth Maul intense or what?! Kudos the guy who portrays him 'cause those kids got what they came for!
This has always been intriguing.
@LastWill1000 Disneyland, Anaheim, California. USA. :D Located in the Tomorrowland Terrace.
DAMN This looks like a whole lot of fun.
I love the confused look on the stormtrooper's face when she dropped it twice.
wow this is seriously awesome
lool.. at the end there was a Buzz Lightyear Jedi Padawan! D:
haha.. that was cool.
Woowww this thing is amazing, i wish i were only a youngling to join it :)
Damn...whoever was Darth Maul was really into it, he was good!
Why is this so awesome?
"Do you know what happens when you chop your opponents arms?" "Yes you!"
"He's screwed?"
dude this show is great!!! the jedi master is funny, he's a stunt man he's done some stage shows and film. And darth maul is great.
that was cool. Dude if only I was a kid again.
omfg this is freaken beast next time i go im going here!!!! omg! :D when the empire showed up im like ok this isnt boring anymroe!
dude that looks sooo fun!!!
I have to say though, the actors voices are perfect for the role.
This is awasome! :)
OMG those robes are ADORABLE
I prefer this to the updated version TBH
That is so cool. I want to be a Jedi Knight :)
Felt like I was there again. This has the full storyline.
Awesome! I love it. I can imagine ADULTS getting up there to fight either Vader or Maul. :)
there was the same thing at the star wars exhibition!
But it was in dark and jedi's had real lightsavers:D
if only there was something like this outside of the US. And if only there had been somethin like this when i was a little kid. sigh!
An Empire Is Forged is the other title of the music called The Imperial March
the funniest part was when the girl accidentally threw her lightsaber and the master said, "You did not see anything!"
i remember walking through tomorrowland and hearing the imperial march. i ran over there to see what the heck was going on lol
this is a fun thing to do. I got chosen. I'm a jedi knight now!
love how he trys the jedi mind trick on the crowd "you will all laugh" and its quiet
wow, i would have loved this as a kid.
@NinjaDisney I think its because Vader is for the little kids so it's easier to fight slow and soft. Mauls kinda for older kids that can keep up, at least thats what I think.
Thats can be awesome for kids !!
I wish i could have done something like this when I was younger.
if my goals in life fail I will SO be applying for this job haha
Hey, I was one of these kids in this showtime recording. I faced Darth Maul!
Dude, it was so cool ;o Those kids are so lucky ;d
8:20 I'd love to see one kid coming out to join darth vader.
This is one of the silliest things ever.
But still clever for the little kids.
it's cool to see how good darth maul is ;p :p and those kids it's awsome!
The guy playing Vader knows how to work the evil fist. XD
yes the show is still going. 5yrs strong
Kick-ass cape swing!!!
o man that was great when he said you did not see anything..jedi mind tricks XD
When Vader asked if someone would join him, I would have stepped up and raised my hand.
Who would even THINK of passing up an oppurtunity to be an apprentice of Darth Vader!? Its insanity!
And when Darth Maul comes out...I mean my god man! What jedi wouldn't wet their pants.
