Thanks very much, this is excellent, I would never have known about the low E or the Seydel and I've wanted to play this for ages! Also, I don't think you need to apologise for your playing, it sounded great to me!
While this does does great, I do believe John used a G Chromatic which has a button to press do you access the sharp and flat notes. Example is Love Me Do. The main harp riff contains an F natural. (Can use a C diatonic) The harp part in the bridge contains an F# (G diatonic). Solution is the G Chromatic
This is great info Josh. Using the G Chromatic how is it TABBED out? or is there a good web site resource to go to to get the TABS for harmonica for common songs like this? Thanks
I fake There's a Place using a "B" but this is BRILLIANT because I think you cracked it. I was always a bit off on TAP but it sounded OK. I tried using B on Please Please Me and it sounds .... ok maybe (-6 6+ -5 +5 +4 repeat) but I do not say it sounds right ... just ok. I will look into the Sydel LE - thanks again
6+ -65 +6 +5 -5 +5 +4 Yes the Seydel LE does "Please Please Me" intro perfectly. On There's a place I use a "B" and +56 -56 +56 -4. I am curious how you play it using the LE - I am sure it works too
Yati Mayor thanks so much for the feedback. I’m not sure about other songs using the LE, sorry. I just had to replace mine, as I don’t really look after my harps, but it has lasted me a couple of years of heavy gigging. Enjoy
Love me DO is both simple and tricky. The intro uses a "C" and is -4 +4 -3 +3 + 3 +3. The solo though use a G then the C. I need to do a more thorough lesson on this. I have an old lesson ua-cam.com/video/Kk_JNJTeA6g/v-deo.html
transtremm this low E Harmonica works fine, I’ve been gigging with it live since the video was posted, played easily in a halo around my neck. So no, I don’t thanks.
Does Hohner make LE diatonic models? I guess Lennon used the same harp to play both songs. Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks, mate! I had no idea about that type of harmonica.

100% true. Bought one today and music store owner says it’s in G
Thank you for the video, I've been through the same
I also bought the one in G and the octave high in E haha
Great job, thanks for figuring it out. Just got my LE flat to use for these two songs (we tune down one half step)
No worries. Glad to help

Hello Jeannine, I'm playing -7, 7, -7, -6 in the video, I hope that helps.
I have only played please please me at gigs though.
THANK YOU i would have searched for ever and still not have found the right one. I have G here and there's no way its in that key
Great Job! Just what I needed!
You are welcome
It would of been nice if you'd post a link for the Seydel harmonic...
CHROMATIC HARMONICA - it's super easy with a Chromatic. You can get it cheaply if you get a Hohner "Chrometta 8".
good research, by the way you can also use the A and E harmonica to get there. it is called 1st position and 2nd position (the A cross harp)
eww, no you can't.
How about Love Me do next?
Hi!! Could u pls respond to this im trying to figure out if e flat is the same as low e do u know??
Hi Toby, I would assume not. Low E is just a normal E harmonica but an octave lower, Eb is a different note/ key.
adbarretttth thank you!!
@@user-bj3fg4xt1t you are more than welcome.
Thank you adbarrettth...Very helpful..Now that I've bought a LE due to you & enjoying it any other tunes that you can suggest ?

I think John played a c or g for please please me. I know he played a g harmonica in love me do
Sweet:)
Does it also work on love me do?
Chris Marksman no, I think that is played on a ‘C’ mate.
