I love how you show love to each other and your beautiful children. I think having kids really does make most of us better people, st least when they are so cute and funny as they learn to walk, talk and just do all the cutest things. But, just wait till they’re teens! Woohoo, things might just change a little! 🤪🥰. Actually, that’s not always true. I have two beautiful daughters who are older than you and I don’t remember any big issues with them. Keep parenting the way you have been and I’m sure those two little ones will always be the best they can be. 👨👩👧👦
This was such a refreshing video! I think it’s human nature to be uncomfortable accepting compliments from others about ourselves but we are so quick to compliment others. I think this is a great practice for any relationship. Thanks guys! ❤️

I love this idea of practicing, honoring and recognizing the positive things in our life. Andrew, I'll challenge you on the self deprecated humor: if Drew or Jett spoke about themselves the way you do about yourself, how would that make you feel?
They hear everything we say about others and ourselves. They won't know your intention of just joking or that underneath you are confident about your successes. They just know that dad makes jokes about his accomplishments, so maybe I will too (about you or in their own life) and not be proud of what I did and how I showed up. Just a thought, I think shawn has brought something up similarly in another podcast but it was moved on from quickly as it was "off topic"

You two are so sweet, and your babies make me smile. I’m a single mom with serious medical issues, and a little boy with autism, so it’s always nice to get a laugh and a smile. I can remember when Shawn was in the Olympics, getting ready for her beam routine, and I desperately wanted to watch. The only issue was that I was on treatment for anorexia at the time, and you happened to be going on at snack time. I hid in the tv room when they called snack to try to see. I got to see about a minute before I was caught. I didn’t get in trouble when I said I was supporting my country lol. I’ve been in recovery for going on 13 years after nearly losing my life. I think it’s great that Shawn has shared her struggles with ED. Awareness is so important because we still have a long way to go!

This is OFF TOPIC but Andrew you may be starting something new. I have notice several times you have a ring on not only your wedding finger but the same finger on your other hand. When I see this I automatically thought, how awesome that was, like you are saying not only are you a committed married man but also a committed father to your children. So one hand shows Yes I’m married and the other shows Yes I have children. 💕
