What makes this doomstack so hilarious is that not only do you have like 60 casts of free magic before touching winds of magic, but if somehow something survives ALL OF THAT... you have 20 cycle charging, terror causing, barrier regenerating, armor piercing and caw cawing chicken tenderizers to finish the fucking job.
Lord of Changestack is fucking unstoppable.
Physical resistance ignoring, healable (with Kairos healz), fast flying chickens too.

Kinda funny how the most alien and eldritch Chaos God has his Greater Daemons be just big birds.
Tzeentch always manifests in the ways you least expect
That being said, it's always depressing to see how streamlined daemons are in the artwork and games compared to the books where each one is a little different.
They are also misshapen and asymmetrical birds. I remember some old artwork where Master of change had his head in place of one of his arms, he held his staff in his beak. TT minis also portray them as kinda ungainly, their wings kinda one lower than the other, etc.
@@darthtom100 It's an unfortunate reality, as paying a team to add *that* level of intimate detail to the Chaos units would be a huge waste of resources, compared to simply adding more content to the game or more minutia to the game-world with those same resources.
Procedural generation gets old fast, otherwise I'd say that would be a good route for the devs to go down. Maybe this AI stuff can eventually be developed and streamlined enough to run in the background of games like this, allowing the game to craft its own details based on the presets given to it by the devs. It would admittedly be awesome to see something like that implemented someday. The game could then randomize how each Chaos unit looked within certain constraints, which could turn out really well and add more to the immersion I think.
There is logic here I think. His "change" and "unknown" aspect is in his lesser demons- horrors. I mean, seriously, how can someone explain horrors' form to someone, who know nothing about warhammer? On other side, his big demons represent "magic" and "wisdom", and many nations in history had a bird as a symbol of wisdom.

Kairos knows both from the past and future that at some point in his life he is going to body himself with an army of magic Big Birds.
The daemon is beyond any doubt completely fucking insane which is either because of or despite of his full comprehension of the infinite bullshit he sees.
The first time I can understand, even Kairos being an all seeing big bird himself, but what did he really expect the second time around?

My friend and I did a co-op campaign as Belakor and Kairos. This was literally his end game army. Was hella fun to watch him nuke everything.
I guess the question is - why an Iridescent Horror and not a Tzeentch Cultist? A Cultist could summon an extra LoC.
Also, here's a fun fact: in my local Warhammer scene people call Lords of Change "lokki" for short because A) it's close enough to the way we pronounce the abbreviated "LoC" and B) it's the finnish word for seagull.
Seagull laughter is clearly one of the sounds of these birb.
I just call mine big bird. For our crusade i named him Squawkkus
late reply, but i'm actually doing this doomstack but with a cultist instead of the iridescent horror and the extra LoC summon doesn't have any bound spells. just pink/blue fire, as normal spell. i still think the cultist is better, on a horse, so he can escape anything that survive and roam toward him.

In Dungeon 2 and Dungeon 3, Flam'Ingo is one of the names your Demon follower can get, I even got Cal'Oris, gave him Title book that gives big HP bonus, but, newer evolved him, after reading his NAME and TITLE together, it was something like "Cal'Oris gave Chef of the Mine a scare", he stayed as a Flaming Demon Pig.
You might enjoy the Series, Start from Game 2, you don't need the first Game. There is Dungeons 4 in production.
