LIC had impenetrable turret until like 3 months ago when they changed it to have same armor as all merk 4s
Really? That was it's saving grace! I transitioned back from Israel to UK a few months ago (Terrible idea btw, chally 2 is pain)

Interesting Fact, The Merk's Trophy system did protect it against an RPG in one of the videos just not the Drone drop in that other RL video

There's a video of an RPG impacting the turret ring from the front and the trophy system did nothing. Speculation that it was due to the projectile coming from below.
@@ricktapio4834 Yes it did, look at the frames around .4 you see the directional Blast from the Trophy, Explosion before the Tank, The burning stuff is some remnants of the rocket. YT keeps deleting the link but anyone can find it on combatfootage
@@ricktapio4834 depends which video this guys talking about, a few destroyed merks have been filmed. I did see one were the APS did work but others were it didnt. some speculate the APS system wasnt active/on
APS doesn’t really work against drones dropping munitions vertically on top of it as we saw yesterday IRL, the problem is that in the modern world drones are more of a threat to tanks. So maybe we’ll see vertical APS systems??
1:54 Yeah. That's what i've always felt in the Merkava, any of the 5 or 6 or however many there are. I get one-shotted more than i get to use the "troll" armor i've heard so much about. It feels so good to hunt mobile missile platforms though. Or simply blow up missiles incoming from KA. 50 or 52

Saw a video today of a large convoy consisting of semi-trailers that transported many Merkava Mk4s and reserve units that had already deployed with Merkava Mk3s.
Israel's mobilization speed is insane.

I hate breslau, mostly because of the 2 big main roads which allow you to just lemming train torwards the enemy spawn which teams too commonly tend to do.
Real talk, maybe IDF are going to have to consider cope nets. The video we saw Saturday couldn’t have been a mere grenade, but a mortar. I’m not certain how the Merkava 4M APS works against slow moving objects from directly above.
I wonder how a cope cage would work if it was made out of a proper armoured steel.

The turret on the merkava should be a lot stronger than it is, it would easily stop its own top dart in the real world. By that I mean the dart in game it probably wouldn't stop dm 63 for example

I heard that recently some other lads rebalanced a Merkava.
i wished they added some more merkavas (like the mk1 early from american tech tree, the mk3d from the same tree, the mk3 d LIC and the mk3 early with those side skirts for the turret)

@@Manaphy0882 Abrams and Leopard 2 5/6 have enough turret armor to resist some shot and cinese mbt look well armored to me. Merkava 4 have very few zone "strong zone".
