I was there. Vinnie was super nice to me and seemed like he was in good place at that point. Sad to see what happened after this.

His writing With Gene and Paul is outstanding. Heavy and melodic.
I was there! Hard to believe that was so long ago. My friend and I got to go to Vinnie's "break room" (when he wasn't at his booth) and sit and chat with him. He was very cool, down to earth and unassuming. We also met him again the following year (when he re-appeared as a guest) and he was really nice and approachable like before. I was rooting for him when he came back in 2017, but not anymore. Just too much weird stuff going on with him. Thanks so much for posting this.

Hi Mike, that was so cool. My favorite line was that Gene & Paul auditioned two tons of people, like literally if you put them on the scale that would be 2 tons of people, during Creatures. You could tell Vinnie wanted to be forthcoming but was also holding back a lot so he could put the stories in his book which I hope comes out someday.
Without Vinnie Vincent there would Be No KISS ….. To this day or in the 80”s or Revenge Era ……. Just Saying

I was there that day. I liked how he got all solemn when talking about Eric Carr. I was actually rolling my eyes.
I really want to like Vinnie, but there’s just something about him that seems “off”.
