Headcanon: This Timeline we’ve been playing is a different one but it’s still the same story MK9-MK11 has been telling. My reasoning behind this Headcanon is because of the costume changes and why they’re not the same as they should’ve been in the Tournament during MK9. I don’t think it was completely a stylistic choice in this vast Multiverse of Mortal Kombat

Don't know about the rest but I have a feeling we will get that Deadpool stage as DLC, because look closely, the Deadpool stage was a new design, while others like Rooftop, Subway and the Pyramid are the same model from the previous game
I can't stop watching this. The devs and animation director really should be proud of themselves, they've created something amazing. I can't remember the last time I saw a cutscene this well-made.

hecc_boii considering Kronika is a Titan (y’know, Titans > Gods?), that can literally manipulate events if they don’t go her way, it actually makes even less sense than Cassie beating Shinnok. Not to mention how Geras can rewind his own death but can’t rewind being stuck in an anchor chain, I bet if someone like Jacqui put him in that chain instead of Raiden there would’ve been an outrage lol. I know people are naturally more partial to nostalgic characters but selective nitpicking is equally silly.

The other main protagonist has the reason why they strong - Liu Kang was a prodigy in martial art who can transform into a dragon, and Cetrion state Liu Kang has a connection with Onaga. Shujinko has the ability to absorb power. Taven is a demigod and Raiden is god. While Cassie, just a rookie blonde girl who become strong after seeing her love one in pain...yup straight up anime asspull.

well this confirms in a way that all of MK properties cartoon,movie,games and live action series are canon. They just happened to be different timelines

It’s a nice way for all the game endings in previous games to be considered canon. That way mk 1-9 were different time lines which explains the different clothing. It’s a small nod to previous games.

In MK vs DC Liu Kang defends shang Tsung by saying "Shang Tsung is not the enemy this time" and in MK 11 he defends scorpion by saying "Scorpion is not the enemy this time. Pretty cool call back to mk vs DC. Plus the fact that they were fighting in all of these timelines was pretty cool.

Raiden's visions all cut off before he sees who wins. "I killed Liu Kang in every one." But seriously, the soundtrack for this scene is so freaking awesome.

That probably causes too many variables. If Raiden doesn't become a god, someone has to. Then that means she has to deal with someone else. Raiden's existence is irrelevant, it's what happens at the culmination of her plan.
This means that very fatality in the versus battles it's do in an alternative timeleine each time. And every time one of them kill each other they are giving the vvtoty to the final boss of this game.
Radien talks about that game being one of his dreams XD I forgot the exact quote but does makes a reference to batman and superman. It's an interaction with someone, I forgot who, maybe liu kang
They actually already made a reference to it. Before liu kang and raiden start fighting, liu kang says that scorpion is not the enemy this time. Which is the same thing he says about shang tsung in the final chapter of mk vs dc.

And when cassie fights corrupted shinnok which is stronger even she wasnt feel any pain or has some injurys. With powers i would say johnny and cassie would win but without it only pure fighting would win liu kang
So I noticed the Rooftop from MK9 Someone pointed out that the MK2 Deadpool scene is a reference to the 1st MK movie Then there's The Subway from MK3 Armageddon's Pyramid of Argus The Deadly Alliance's Shang Tsung Palace And MK1's Warrior Shrine
New headcanon: Kronika not only orchestrated the events of Mortal Kombat but also Area 51 and the suffering games. See mk used to be apart of midway and plus in Deception there was a demo for Area 51. My guess is that at some point she probably got a little tired so she decided to make a timeline without mk and that became the suffering timeline. She probably didn't expect for one man to survive the monstrosities so later on she experimented and made a timeline without mk once again the result is Area 51... I'm probably going to far on this 😐
They are all multiple MK timelines. Simple as that. All the vision shows is that no matter what, they always end up fighting because together they would be unbeatable.
Wow 1:37 is Liu Kang and Raiden fighting in MK Deadly Alliance....Kung Lao must have gotten killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi instead 1:41 is the two of them Fighting in MK Armageddon.....Raiden must have killed Blaze but Zombie Liu Kang must have wanted the power himself. Also Onaga must have killed Shao Kahn when he snatched him from the Pyramid and flew away. A lot of questions and opinions and thoughts come to mind when seeing that Liu Kang and Raiden have fought in every single timeline due to Kronika always restarting history and repeating the same battle between Raiden and Liu Kang
There will be an mk12 a developper when asked about mk11 being the last game, he answered "yes, of 2019" so there will be mk12 eventually, but first injustice 3 has to kome out

She said raiden figured it a lot of times and he failed, but raiden changed the pattern
But Raiden eventually realizes it in every timeline anyway. He mentions it later in this same cutscene to Kronika.

The flashbacks are cut for us so we don't have to watch all of them n they won't consume time but they aren't cut for him.
My favorite cutscene. The soundtrack just highlights how incredible the reality changes were.
This is the best scene in the game just because of how well the fight choreographed, the editing and camera shots, along with the music.

That probably causes too many variables. If Raiden doesn't become a god, someone has to. Then that means she has to deal with someone else.

Ed Boon said Liu Kang was still Mortal Kombat's main protagonist, but I personally consider the reboot timeline to be Raiden's story
This means that very fatality in the versus battles it's do in an alternative timeleine each time. And every time one of them kill each other they are giving the vvtoty to the final boss of this game.

See mk used to be apart of midway and plus in Deception there was a demo for Area 51.
My guess is that at some point she probably got a little tired so she decided to make a timeline without mk and that became the suffering timeline.
She probably didn't expect for one man to survive the monstrosities so later on she experimented and made a timeline without mk once again the result is Area 51...

They are all multiple MK timelines. Simple as that. All the vision shows is that no matter what, they always end up fighting because together they would be unbeatable.
