My wife and I are absolutely loving your videos. We start our day with a cuppa coffee sitting on the couch, watching you on your venture. Thanks for doing this. We have you in our thoughts and prayers for a safe journey.
My wife and I walked August/September 2022. Enjoying your videos. I am walking again in September/October. Appreciate your approach in sharing your Camino, much better and more honest than the professional UA-cam vloggers.
Love the title! Keep up the good work. You guys are doing awesome. That vertical climb about 3/4's of the way through... Looked brutal on the recap video. Very proud of both of you!
Your wife has the EXACT same pair of Brooks Adrenaline that I had on the Camino...they were the most comfortable shoes and became even more comfortable the further I walked. Loved them.
Your conversation on the sidewalk is similar to the one me and the wife have while shopping. I can mentally do 15 minutes but she knows i can physically do 8 hours. Find that sweet spot! 😂 All seriousness, i agree with the idea of taking a rest day if you are able. You've earned it.
I'm laughing so hard watching you lie on the very sidewalk I was on last year at this time. We also hated those rocks up the hill and that super long boring walk into Burgos. But we stayed 2 nights in Burgos and loved every minute of it.
I wish you all knew/brought laundry soap sheets with you like EcoBreeze. Are you making friends staying in private accommodations? I'm so glad I don't have a flight home booked. You two sound a bit stressed being in a timeline. I want to know about the new shoes! I was at the REI (flagship store in Seattle) yesterday and almost told them to stop recommending the Brooks for the Camino to folks since they are not durable enough for the Camino. They recommended them to me.
Hello you guys, you both are doing great, on your wonderful adventure. My husband and I head out to the same Camino at the beginning of April, how is the temperature in the evenings. Trying to figure out what clothing to take. Good luck, keep strong.
Like your videos, I watch for your updates and I hope the mental aspect gets better for you before you get to the meseta. 😅 it will test you. Buen Camino.
Would you believe that you'll look back on this day with fond memories or even wishing you could go back and experience it all over again? As someone who had been in your place, I feel qualified to speak on the subject!
Look out for a friend of mine walking the wrong way, he started from Santiago today after finishing the Via de La Plata, you are unlikely to miss him, Efren Gonzalez from Miami (originally from Cuba)

Glad you’re enjoying them Bob. Keep the thoughts and prayers coming

This comment means a lot thanks. Buen Camino

Thanks 👍. Listen these climbs are more than I bargained for
Great Job on your videos. They take a lot of work after all the walking you do. Keep up the great work 💞💞💞
Thank you so much!
Yes on the shoe tie! 😊
Yes!!
Couple of days ahead of you, Leon tomorrow. Great vids 👍
I know it was a tough day, but what you’ve done so far is INCREDIBLE. Keep on keepin on @recks_treks. ❤
Id recommend taking a break day and see the sites at Burgos and rest/reset your body

Good to know!

Us Recks are all quite similar

Glad there are people that understand where we were mentally

We’ve made it a point to go to pilgrim dinners whenever able, so yes we’re making some friends.
I wore out a pair of Darn Tough on the Camino. Mailed them to the company and they sent me a new pair.
She has them all tucked away ready to send back

Much chillier than I planned for. I’ve been wearing my hiking jacket in the evening to stay warm

Thanks for watching. Hit the meseta yesterday

Having the best time and will cherish these video memories
The walk through the town sucks. The alternate route by river is better.
All in all you guys had fun.
Wish I would have researched the river route a bit more
Oooh nobody advised you to go left just before the airport, it’s bad that way, I’ve walked both routes…
Definitely wish I would have
@@RecksTreks as it happens it seems you couldn’t of taken the alternative route as road works before the airport had it closed off
