Discovery 2, TD5 Intercooler Change. (Big Lollopy Dog!)

I suspected the intercooler was leaking so when it stopped raining for ten minutes, I changed it for another second-hand one! Just in time too!
Front electric fan and passenger front window jobs still outstanding.

Blimey those are narrow inter coolers!
I’ve cleaned/flushed a few out on other cars over the years... not sure how that might work on a narrow system like those

Where did you get the spanners for taking off the viscous fan?

Hi! Ebay. There are a lot of single spanners about but I wanted the pair of them. one goes over the nuts on the pulley and the other fits the boss. Top job!

one of the allisport(performance...whatever performance you can get out of these i dont know) intercoolers are a good investment...for 500. not quite your style though hahah
