Both groups are from the seed of esau. Neither are YAHS chosen people. But u knew that already. Trying to steal your birth right back after you sold it for a bowl of pottage meant your birth right didnt mean anything to u. I have a lot of respect for Serch. My uncle, who was only a few years older than me and was basically like my big brother, and who had gotten me into Hip-Hop music in the winter of 83/84), loved 3rd Bass and rocked them constantly. Seeing/hearing him gives me nostalgia for 89/90 - which was a very rough 2 years for me, but a time whose magic resonated above all the bullshit.

    Next up MC SERCH,
Loved. 3rd Bass growing up in the 90’s.
So many great groups and artists.
Personally now , can’t stand new shit.
Use to love to hear grimy beats, samples.
I have a lot of respect for him and enjoyed this interview.

As a white kid I was never into 3rd Bass back then. I liked their solo albums way better, especially Here it Comes.
That being said, I'm taking everything Serch said with a grain of salt. He's entertaining, true, but there were too many bridges burnt. Makes you wonder.
No mentioning of Daddy Rich, nothing about the break-up, the planned reunion, his beef with Pete Nice.
