An excellent explanation: simple, clearly pronounced, slowly vocalized, with the rich exemplification. Thank you, teacher Paul.

Hello Paul! Thanks a lot for your lesson! Everything is clear and understandable. Excuse me. Can I ask you one question? Why did you use "by car" and "by plane" without articles? They do be countable nouns in a singular form.

It depends on the mode of transportation: by car, by plane, on foot (for walking), by boat, by helicopter. The word "by" is usually used, but I'm not sure why the article isn't included. It looks like Ps Silva provided you with a link.

@@Learnamericanenglishonline Thank you so much for your answer! Got it. I had read a text from the link. Unfortunately, sometimes logic and formal logic doesn't work in the learning of a language. To get an intuition in English, I need more practice. Thank you again!

    How long = എത്ര സമയം / കാലം
    How long will it take ? അതിനെത്ര സമയമെടുക്കാം /
How much longer will it be ?
It will not be much longer. At most it may take just 5 minutes more.
How long does it take you to get to work ?
It usually takes 5 minutes but today it took a longer due to the rain.
How do you get to work ?
Normally I get to work by bus. Today instead of taking the bus, I walked to work.
    And here is a joke
Customer at restaurant : I would like a burger. Will it be long ?
Waiter : It will not be long, all burgers are round in shape!
