You know what, I've seen very few besides myself love this song like you do. I saw Rainbow in 1980, and Black Sabbath with DIO in 1981. Cheers, 😎

Dio is so magical man . Brought tears to my eyes when he sings. He wanted to make beautiful music in the heavy metal world. Check out rainbow stargazer(music video) brooo dio knows how’s to story tell

Excellent choice Phil! Certainly, as you say, one of those masterpieces from their debut album! This is one of those tracks which allows us to see how they create different versions of a track when they play, as they should do, Live! There's a version of this from 20 years later, live in Dusseldorf - no Dio on vocals and completely different band around the guitarist - but an epic version that would be great and a first as a follow-up! The band have created great music over the years, but their early Dio years are usually recognised as the best - in particular their album "Rising"! Thanks for a great reaction that was beautifully described!
