TWS is my favorite. It looks great and it’s rock solid. Holds zero everytime I take it to the range and come home to clean it. Midwest Industries has their alpha series furniture that’s very similar to zenitco. It’s super nice and all but I don’t see myself spending almost a grand for it.
Thank you for sharing this. As an AK guy, I've been very skeptical of dust cover optics mounting (I've some really sketchy stuff; like shake the rifle and the optics drastically, visibly shakes around), but this seems legit.
I get it 100 percent , there’s been a lot of shady dust covers come out and it’s hard to justify spending that money when everyone’s saying it’s not worth the money ! But I did my research on tws checked out their yt channel and watched the videos and then made a decision to go with them , despite the other guys like robski and a few others saying these are chit ! This is worth the money and imo the best upgrade you can do to an ak !!
This is how manufacturers need to start offering AKs - rails and m-lok slots. TWS top covers and SLR Rifleworks handguards/gas tubes are my go-to’s for my AKs. They work.
Exactly! Especially the American made ones, I could understand if someone had an original molot or Izzy ak and wanted to keep it stock. But the American made ones should all come outfitted with anything you want. I love these rails and dust covers they haven’t failed me and I use them decently!
This dust cover really seals the deal for me , the reason I posted this video is because I’ll recommend the tws to people then I get guys saying they are shit and won’t hold a solid zero …. It’s just nonsensical and clearly they’ve never used one before , so many guys won’t diagnose things for themselves and take social medias advice seriously…. Robski made a video years ago on these and he said they were shit , I still went ahead and got one and haven’t regretted it one bit ! Though his test where it failed he had the dust cover open and for me that’s just not reasonable!! I’ve never once had an issue with this system and it’s been used a lot !!!
I see a lot of guys shit on these dust covers , so this video has been needed for a while ! Definitely my first and favorite addition to any ak I own !
Do you know if these handguards will fit on the Polish beryl? The beryl already has a rail on top but id like to have that long handguard like you have
I’m not 100 percent sure but I don’t think so, these handgaurds I think are proprietary for the psa ak556. I’m not 100 percent how the yugo rifles slide into the receiver but it may be yugo friendly. I’m going to investigate this a little more and I will get back to you! 😊
@@A1.CLiiiPz ok so I looked on the site and I couldn’t find anywhere where it says it’s compatible and I bought it soooo damn long ago that I can’t remember exactly which ones I bought( because I have 2), so I looked through my shit and hoped that I kept the boxes, which I did and both tws mounts that I own are the { Dog Leg Rail, Gen-3- AKM, AK-47 / 74}. That’s the exact labeling that’s on both boxes, now when you get it it’s gonna be tight when you close the dust cover but I personally like that because it ensures that you’ll hold a great zero. 😊 otherwise I have zero gripes with this upgrade and everyone should have them on their aks!

But lmk once you get it on, you’ll love it it makes the rifle 100 times better and the railed dust cover psa offers is no where near as good as the tws. It costs more for the tws but is well worth it imo!

I have no complaints with the TWS cover on my 103. As long as I can hit my target that's all that matters.
