I have a refurbished time machine I'm looking to sell. It's barely used . I'm shooting for around $606CAD or best offer. Let me know if you are still interested in going "back to around 2000-2004." I've also got other means of space/time travel if a large bulky machine is not your thing. -Darren Titor
U guys are saying that because you were little kids when this song was made. Life is always simple when you're little but then u grow up & realize it's not :/
@@paulinaarteaga1720 The 90's and early 2000's are revered by many older adults as well as the last "Good Times" Economy, culture, etc have been progressively getting worse since then or so I've been told.
This song suddenly popped into my head today and fortunately I remembered the chorus so I was able to look up the lyrics. Damn, I haven't heard the name "Lillix" for so long. The NOSTALGIA.
These songs are siblings: "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne "Why Can't I" by Liz Phair "It's About Time" by Lillix "So Yesterday" by Hilary Duff They sound similar to each other. Plus, they were written by the same songwriting team. Therefore, they have the same parents.
It's 2024 and we need to bring back the 2000's. We had the best bands and talent. We have no good bands now and just singers who are one hit wonders with no class.
Love their styles of music, hair, makeup, and outfits. They make me miss living in the early 00s but I’m glad to have been a part of it all in my preteen and early teen years so thank goodness I didn’t get to miss out on anything that was “in” during the early 00s. Not really into the hot trends that are out there these days. Seems to me that times are just getting worse to be honest.
They used to play this on the TVs at Limited Too a lot when I worked there... with Justice going out of business I've been making a Limited Too and Justice memories playlist :D RIP Limited Too 1987-2010 and Justice 2004-2020
This song takes me back, a lot! I miss listening to them on the radio back then, I miss high school. I was just so in love when this song was first out, and the lyrics were just fine!
Oh man, do I remember this or what?! Seven years and it still holds up well. I was going into my senior year when I first heard this song, as well as watched this video.
One of my fav video's of all time,I loved this band since the first album hit. isaw the CD at Peaches records in Mobile while visiting and without hearing it I bought knowing I would love,it's always been in constant rotation in my players since for over a decade. So glad I found them.....they are still one of my fav bands ever!
Wowwwwwww.... dude... this song just sort of distantly showed up in my mind in a very very foggy thought ... it was something ... what was that song that I used to listen to when I was talking to such and such person... and then I just remembered. Wow just wow. Aww... one of these days it all comes togetha...
If you like those artists you mention above, I suggest you also listen to Everlife, KSM, Skye Sweetnam, Aly & AJ, Fefe Dobson and Hope 7. Some of them may not be really famous, but believe me that popularity doesn't determine quality.
Vrfan88 haha, man that sounds like a subject matter best unrequited summation. I'm gonna gonna get ya, I'm gonna getcha. Rhyme stealer. Indeed. Alalalalalala let's get. FOR NOW.... Ta taa
I clearly remember the summer that this song came out. I was ten. This is one of the songs from that summer I absolutely loved but the radio never played again. The other was "Stacey's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne. I've heard the rest of FOW's stuff and loved it. But I can't seem to find the album this song came from.

I use to love LILLIX !!!!! This song is still a jam !
Me too ... ❤️
I know that's right girl.
Beautiful early 2000's pop music, oh I miss you! I wish I could go back to around 2000-2004. Pop music doesn't sound like this anymore.
2000s Pop Rock never dies! :)

When music was great to listen to.
I love their music! I remember listening to them a long time ago. Listening as an adult, their songs hold so much meaning! They’re underrated.
Omg summer 2003 vibes it's instantly warm outside, I'm 9 again and blasting this song on MTV
I was 10. I miss those days...

I am old too. When I listen to this song, my heart warps to 18 years ago.
Anyone listening in 2023?
Yup lol I remembered how much I loved this album.
They are super sweet ladies! Absolutely loved meeting them! They autographed my cd for me 💖
It's about time... that Lillix gets the recognition they deserve.
It's 2024 and we need to bring back the 2000's. We had the best bands and talent. We have no good bands now and just singers who are one hit wonders with no class.
We need more songs with cultural impact instead of songs controlled by the music industry with the same formula put upon the same few people
July 2021 anybody? Childhood reminiscing?
The bridge is something CRAZY 😍

I first saw a clip of this song during a Dawson’s creek commercial and then I was obsessed with this song. Definitely miss the simpler days
We need this type of music to be popular in the industry again.
Nostalgia..
This is the summer before junior high I loved American Juniors and listened to this on REPEAT to say it is a time capsule is a understatement!!!
I still listen to their stuff till this day, always brings up my mood x.
How did they not become bigger??!! They are talented and gorgeous!
This song is as good today as the day it came out, ITS SOOO FUN!!!!

I used to love them, falling uphill wasa great album =)
Liz Phair, michelle branch, Lillix and Avril Lavigne etc., i believe, all had the same voice. but hey, it worked.

Actually they all worked with the same producers, that's why their songs sound similar.

This will never get old
I don't know why this song reminds me of "Why Can't I" by Liz Phair. The guitar riff and musical style sound quite similar.
loved that Liz fair single from around this time !!!!!!!!
Both songs are by the same producers
